I'd like to be all righteous and say I would sacrifice myself.. but tbh I wouldn't... "end justifies means" and I value myself and the world quite highly...
Oh and there was a similar topic but the choices were
1) Fight to save the world
2) Score with hot member of opposite sex
3) Kill yourself
4) Other
I guess this topic is alright as it's more about morals...

This question is not very compelling. The person you sacrifice is going to die whatever decision you make, so this question is just asking if you want to destroy everything or not. And honestly, I just don't think oblivion is a good choice.
I assume there are no other options, like self sacrifice (Because if this is an option, you're a dick if you don't choose it), perhaps, or circumventing the entire disaster in another manner (Scapegoating your own question would be lame).

If i had to decide that moment, I'd let myself go instead if that was possible.
but...if it wasn't an immediate thing, I'd talk to the person and see how they feel about it.

I want to know about the sacrifice system, like who is the one that wants the sacrifice, or how does it work.
So it's a one life or the world question?
If the world can keep going while I'm trying to decide that will take quite an ammount of time

I'm selfish so I would go through with the sacrifice. I don't care that much about any one in particular... so unless the sacrifice was my pets, it wouldn't bother me that much.

Well,
If this person really cared about me the same way I care about her/him, then this person would feel the same amount of anguish brought about by me sacrificing myself that I would feel if I sacrificed this person..... so I say let the world end and let's see what comes after death.
A world without the ones you love isn't really a world worth living in, IMHO.

I put "Take the sacrifice's place". I'd feel guilty about the whole world ending just because of one person, and I'd rather take on anything myself than watch someone I really care about die.
And I'd look soooooooooo cool!!! ^_^
