Almost my exact feelings. I read it more out of curiousity than anything. They do a pretty decent job of portraying a DS relationship, and it's really just a curious book. I don't really get excited about anything in it, and the story pisses me off a lot, but I think in a good way.

More than anything I wonder how the hell someone can have so little pride to allow themselves to be treated like that, but that's probably why I find it so curious. Also I really want to find out who that old guy is and what their relationship is. They do as much as they can to allude to the fact that they are screwing, but it could also be interpreted somewhat that he's like her doctor or something other than that.

It's a great read, what part about it warrants such hatred? bigrazz

Mainly just anger at the main characters, her for treating him that way, and him for being such a wuss with no pride and accepting and craving it. But then, the point of this show and the draw is the whole DS thing, so it's hard to really fault the manga for having it there. It's more like, I hate how they treat each other and themselves, but since that's basically the whole theme of the books, it's not something you can really count against it. I could never be in a relationship like that, but it's very interesting to read about it at times, heh.

I saw that at Borders and was thinking of buying it, but it didn't tell you anything on what it was about, and sense I didn't have access to MU there, I decided to buy something else instead(Special A 1-6).

She's being a bitch by trying to keep him "clean" ?o_O
Only a pervert would say tha..no, scratch that, one horny son of a gun would say that.
Sure, it may seem like "torture" for males but the thing is, do we really need to do it as much as the main character wants to?

To me, all she's teaching him is self control, 'tis all :\ Don't hate da playa, hate the game, y'all~ roll eyes

Really it is an interesting manga, i can't fault the main guy for to much cause he knows what he wants and is willing to go for it, though yes he does have a pretty low self esteem. I like the main girl though her not disclosing the whole truth is sorta frustrating, but when it all comes together it will go one of 2 ways: either it will all work out perfect and be very nice or it will go completely wrong and piss nearly everyone off. Which is why i think most of us (at least myself) can't stop reading cause we want to see what happens next and will things work out.

hmm i think there are only 5 volumes total, can someone confirm this for me. The reason i believe this is that they are making/ releasing a movie based on this graphic novels so i am thinking the novels are finished sor them to know the end of the story.

No no no, that's not what it is, i think you misunderstand a bit of it...

She "teases" him sexually and then just stops, and I'm willing to bet that's what makes the guy so damn'd horny.

Its got nothing to do with keeping the guy clean...since obviously, after having sex with that old guy, its clear that she has no problems having sex, she is doing it to mess with the guy....

(And I'll just ignore that comment you made about being horny...)

Yes i can read that, but it also says that only 2 volumes have been released when the 3rd volume came out last month. So i was just curious if anyone can confirm whether it is still ongoing or not.

uhh... don't think Kurumi's had sex in the time she and Aiba knew each other. At least from how I'm interpreting it after reading 3 volumes, and skimming vol 4 raws. I do think Kurumi's "secret" that keeps being alluded to probably is a major motivation for why they don't have sex. I'm about 90% sure what the secret is, but don't want to reveal potential spoilers...

This is actually a pretty good read... Rather gratuitious, and heavy with the sub/dom theme. The side characters are also pretty two dimensional, and really only serve as gag characters and plot devices for little side adventures.

The two protagonists, though, actually have a surprising amount of depth to them. Aiba is the submissive one in the relationship and continuously debases himself, but has this extremely pure (er... as pure as it can be in a subdom themed relationship) regard for Kurumi that also serves as the motivation for his character growth. Kurumi comes into things as the clichéd interesting girl with a secret, but this secret is so well alluded to, and (if I'm right about the secret) fits neatly into just why she's being such a cocktease.

Anyways, I'd recommend this to anyone willing to read a very unique perspective on something that could have easily been generic fetishist smut. It probably takes a certain amount of maturity (not all about the boobies, lol), open-mindedness, and maybe a certain appreciation for storytelling, but it has definately piqued my interest... to my utter surprise... ~grin~
