I didn't say that the child will grow up gay just diferent, more open-minded than other but it will surely not be the only diference.
It's true that child always find something to make fun from but that's only if there's nobody diferent, if there's already a good target they will make fun of him/her. Children make fun of the most easy thing to find and with parent gay it might last until he graduate from high school.
I personnaly know some of these easy target and one of them is not in this world anymore, child are easy to break, it just take time.
I am not against the adoption because the parents are gay just because it's not good for the child, if the child was to live a normal life with friend and all then i don't mind but in the present, the mentality of the people aren't ready for this and it will only result in hurting the child.

I agree. I have no problem with gay marriages (if they love each other, they can get married for all that I care... it doesn't really concern me, does it?), but I am against adoption. Sure they would be open minded, but... how do you explain to a child that while other kids have a "mama" and a "papa", he has two papas? Even at school, or in society in general, I think it's bound to create many issues and problems to this child.

I'm against all marriage. At least I don't want to get married or have children.


On the children aspect, in my opinion, if you are prepared and willing, and completely capable of taking care of child, you shouldn't be restricted on your rights to adopt. There are plenty of straight parents on the planet who shouldn't be allowed to have their child, yet they still do.

I mean, a friend of mine, she was adopted by two lesbians when she was younger, and besides her odd obsession with Jeremy Irons, I'm pretty sure she is normal. Everyone in school knew, and no one really cared.

"Nature's freaks"? Um, did you know that animals practice gay sex in the wild and in captivity, and there are even some species that prefer it to straight sex.

The reason gays are getting "up in your face" is because they just want to do the same things that heterosexual couples can do everyday. Like, hold hands, or give their lover a kiss in a park.

I mean, yeah, there are some pretty weird gays out there, like the whole "Pride Parade" with assless chaps and glittery underwear, but just as you can't judge the whole human population on Scientologists, you can't base all the gays on them.

there is nothing wrong with same sex marriages. Seriously why can't people just mind their own business and ignore it if it bothers them. As for children my cousin is more normal than me is some aspects and his mother's are getting married soon.

Well, whatever, its just the internet, not like i can change the world on here.

On topic, i support it, but i am not so sure of the adoption thing, because as people have said, it could be quite bad for the kids, teasing wise, i am not doubting the parents love...but sometimes the mental damage received can be more than parents can help...

But if asked, i would say yes to that also, for the equal treatment of people.

I don't quite understand why people even have to discuss it to such an extent. It's just natural that if two people love each other, they should be allowed to marry and live happily ever after or whatever. Discussions such as the one about same sex marriage... tires me out. I don't even get pissed off any more. And I get even more tired when I see the kind of "extremists" that pop up like a particularly bad case of athlete's foot (yeah haze.maniac, I'm talking to you -- still, kudos to you for daring to speak your opinion). So, for God's (or whatever deity you prefer) sake, let people love and be happy and imagine the amount of money governments all over the world will save... Cuz y'know, actually letting homosexuals do as they please might just reduce those psychiatric bills...
... I guess you shouldn't forget the religious, political and social ramifications either, but I still can't help but thinking that it's a shame that such a small thing as same sex marriage is deemed serious enough to actually have religious, political and social ramifications...

the way I see it it's like the gay person saying there's not enough good men or women out there for them. Which is not true, there is plenty of hot woman and plenty of ggod men. But of course if this gay person couldn't attract an opposite sex then.......that's ok. But otherwise it's sort of like an insult.
