Are colours disabled on manga series pages?

I ask because I know the colour codes still work in my sig, but when I tried to add a colour code on http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=33966 , it won't work.

If they're disabled, what's the reason why? Were people abusing them or is it a strong measure that the series pages don't end up looking like something...disco-ish?

They're not disabled. You just don't know how to use the tag correctly...

Besides, you don't need color on the series page. We might as well disable them so that people don't do weird things with the tags. We're an info site, not an information beauty contest
