Okay, tis' my first topic here looking for something. I started getting into My Mysterious Girlfriend X recently, and I quite like it, considering I'm not usually into romance stories. So as of late I'm feeling SO RONERY for certain reasons (no date for the debutant's ball yet..), so I'm looking into reading more romance stuff, preferably like MMGX, and no Shojo/Yuri/Yaoi please. Yes, I'm such a typical girlfriend-less nerd, and all that.
Also, I'd prefer it if were set in a School as well.
And keep in mind, I don't want it overly cheesy and flowery, and not too realistic.
Thanks in advance! bigrazz

Ciguatera
Is the only thing that comes to mind... realistic romance, with some peculiar twists and still with lots of great comedy moments.

it's not weird in the spit swapping ways of mysterious gfx, but it's def original and complete
the hating girl
it's a bit dated and the arts different, but it's got it's fair share of quirks and complete
inu neko jump
the main girls a trip and has one of my favorite lines of any manga. also complete

B. Reaction and Hatsukoi Limited are short, lighthearted manga. (Both had sudden endings though.)

I"s and Ichigo 100% are classics in that kind of genre, they're a bit on the long side though. laugh

You can also try Kamichu and Yuuhi Romance, which is a bit more mature...

Rosario+Vampire when you're desperate. none

I like the looks of Hatsukoi Limited, I"s, Kamichu, Love Roma and Ciguatera, so I've added em to the ol' Wish List. Thanks a bunch dudes. cool
