My favourites are constantly changing, if you ask me in a few weeks they will probally be different, but at the moment...
Manga: Mahou Sensei Negima, it's my favourite out of what im reading at the moment and has been for a while.
Anime: Probally Elfen Lied, I don't watch a lot of anime anymore.

I have to agree with XshatteredsoulX on Gravi. I can read this series over and over again and never get sick of it. It's just so crazy and fun. Love it!
My favorite anime of all time would be Evangelion although it's really a tough decision. My favortie anime that I am currently watching is Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. It fricken cracks me up...i really should finish reading the manga.

i would rate my fav manga/anime on the scale of how much times i've reread it or rewatched it...let's see........
(greatest to least)
Fav manga: mars, tokyo crazy paradise, hana yori dango, power!!, anatolia story, goong, violinist of hameln, akuma de sourou, youth gone wild, skip beat, snow drop, demon diary (probably the only shounen-ai i've ever read), hanakimi, paradise kiss...
overally the best one i've ever read would be a battle between mars and tokyo crazy paradise...
Fav anime of all time: kaikan phrase!...it's so much better in the anime than the manga

manga: Angel Densetsu. i couldn't stop laughing when reading it. the part that i like the most is when their father fight at school and was mistaken for yakuza. i also like the part henzo when he try to kill kitano at his dojo. ahh~~~ a good comedy need a good snack. chips i think??

Favorite completed manga: Tie between Rurouni Kenshin (first manga I ever bought), Akira (which is wierd since the movie was the first anime I ever saw didn't read the manga till last year), and GTO (cause it's freakin awesome!!).
Favorite Anime: At the moment it would be Code Geass since one can't describe how amazingly awesome this show is with words. However if this includes movies too then it would have to be a tie between Spirited Away and Nausicaa.

I don't really have any clear favorites, but have to mention Ichigo 100% / Aishiteruze Baby / Slam Dunk for manga.

My favorite anime and manga of all-time has to be Gravitation. It has it's many flaws, but that didn't stop me from becoming obsessed with it. Not to mention, it was my "gateway drug" into yaoi and BL/shounen ai

But when it comes to anime, after Gravitation it's...
2) Code Geass - This is the best anime to come out of 2006. The art, the seiyuu, the story, just everything about it...keeps you watching and needing/waiting for the next episode. A couple of episodes have even made me cry (Not to mention, the hottest mecha pilot out there is the main character)
3) X - I just loooove X. Even though, the art was average, they picked perfect seiyuu for the characters. Many an episode caused me to shed tears . The music was awesome too, and I absolutely love some of the characters. Despite the Tsubasa manga being the actual first CLAMP work I read, the X anime is really what made me start reading/watching other CLAMP series. Not to mention, the main character has to got to be one of the most gorgeous bishounen the world has ever seen

Gah, I've never seen the anime, but I wish I could. It was my first shounen-ai as well.

I don't watch a lot of animes, but I'm quite old.. so most of the animes I've seen were really old and just a few new ones, and I usually read mangas for newer series nowadays.
My favorite anime is Touch, I used to watch that when I was a kid and it was one of the first serious animes I watched, the soundtracks and scenes were just amazingly beautiful to me
Manga is a tough choice, there're just so many unique mangas, I enjoyed a lot of them but also a lot of them failed to impress me after a while or it just ends prematurely, or just loses its magic because of length, but I think my favorite is Angel Sanctuary, I have an obsession with manga (or games or anything) where they provide you with perfect endings (good or bad) to all the characters, and Angel Sanctuary did a great job in that aspect.
