Okay so up until episode 123 I thought bleach was so trumping Shippuden but now after watching 124 and seeing what they did and how they found a way to use kariya from the bounto arc at one of the best parts of the manga it left a slightly off feeling with me. So what do you think about them incorporating kariya into the story line once again even if it's a one time thing. Oh and Naruto has been steadily getting better imo. The fight between kankuro and sasori was pretty good and we got to see neji and lee. I think naruto will only get better and there are no wierd filler characters crossing over. How about you? cool

Oh other than kariya i still liked the episode though but they really didn't need to use him. Why?

Edit: Um I forgot the "h" in bleach in the topic title is there a way to edit it?

just have to say : NO to be anime of both.

just like before 2 chapter=1episode......alone that pisses me off. yeah, there are some advancement in the animation, but I hate these unbelievable lame fights. Just saw bleach episode 124, there are sometimes inbetween some very bad animation (ichigo as hollow, pushed back/ 9.19 minute+)

and I really looked toward to the "Instinct"-screen, that was really well made in the manga.....and then i saw that luminous-advertising-straight-from-shibuya-parody......

and again those fillers charas............well kariya was a pretty good flashback, but I don't want to see any of these bounto-arc dudes again......

I think I will stop wachting the anime, just download it when a new opening is coming out

i just watch the openings on youtube

from the little bit ive seen of the animes tho, in my opinion atleast, bleach is on top.
solely b/c the bleach manga is goin really good now, while the naruto went downhill for me after the whole sakura/sasori fight and saving gaara(i mean seriously, they spent how long with fillers going into detail about all the rookie 9 and sand kids, yet how often you see them after the time skip)

In my opinion Bleach is the best so far. Though I really hate how they still incorporate everyone from the bounto arc like Kariya and the 3 composite souls, they should have all disappeared after that arc, they ruined when Grand Fisher was chasing Kon and Renji's fight and now Kariya with Ichigo fighting Hollow Ichigo. They are all just time fillers and I hate it. Naruto is gonna become worse after they meet Sasuke after the gap for many reasons such as
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Sasuke is so strong compared to Naruto that it's not even funny plus they make the sharingan look so bad-ass that no one can beat it, after 2 1/2 years of training with Jiraiya, Naruto still hasn't learned shit all, all he's showed is a stronger rasengan, better chakra controls with Kage bushin, and he can go 4 tails with Kyuubi, but nothing else at all. Also after meeting Sasuke again and getting his ass kicked Kakashi trains Naruto to learn a new move(funny didn't he go away for 2 1/2 years to become stronger, really seems like he didn't at all) and after using this new move once he can't use it anymore. I don't know what the mangaka is thinking, but Naruto is going so downhill.
If you read the spoiler you will know why Bleach is so much better then Naruto right now, but ya the whole bounto people pisses me off, but I really hope after this we will never see them again. Also I don't see Naruto becoming better then Bleach anytime soon, if at all.

I've not read the Bleach manga, and for me it's ok that the charas from the Bount arc appear occasionally. I just see the so-called fillers as a regular part of the anime.

Ya I guess that's another way you can look at it. Though I would still prefer them out of the anime.

Ditto about Naruto, he learns just about nothing in 2-1/2 years and then suddenly he learns how to make an atomic bomb in his hand in about two weeks. Just stupid.

However, I have to disagree that Bleach is any better. Any storyline in the Bleach manga (I haven't watched either anime in about a year), seems to just be to set-up the next fight with the next evil syndicate. The repetition is killing me! Is Bleach nothing more than a glorified tournament manga? mad

When i first watched bleach, i thought it was a so-so anime, but stuck with it because i heard it got better. What really sealed it for me was the soul-soc. arc, everything about it was great, but when it came to a close and the fillers started, I watched about half of them and then stopped watching bleach altogeather.

very mild obvious spoiler

Spoiler (highlight to view)
One thing that really annoyed me (not including my dislike of the filler arc in general) was that, after reading the manga first, they couldnt drastically change the storyline during the bount arc, they couldnt deviate from the manga, so none of the main characters could die nor could there be any character development. So basically after the arc finished, nothing had actually changed (with the exception of some annoying new characters). Every fight that happened, it was obvious who would survive because they are still alive in the manga.

Anyway, I did love bleach, but it looks like it's getting stuck in the DBZ trend. Maybe it will get better ^^

I'm hoping that both anime gets even better. I like the current episodes, and I find very little fault - maybe because I try so hard to like them...

uh yeah, straight to your face, here comes filler arc number 2, just after 30 regular episodes with advanced look.

just looked 129......part number 2 of DAMN FILLERS AGAIN!
what happend? i thougt finally bleach would kept up with the manga( i did a little bit math: bleach anime and manga will hit each other at episode 180 or so) and than LAME STORY ALERT is ringing again in my head.

forget both bleach and naruto strongest disiclpe kenichi is what kicks ass. i mean unlike bleach and naruto where they barely train and get super strong all of a sudden kenichi actually works out. i just wish their was some scanlator who would translate kenichi as fast they do bleach and naruto. and i hate that thiers like ten groups translating bleach and naruto each. I know i shouldnt be complaining but right now i feel the need too

oh god. I can't believe they started fillers again. At first I was like, meh, okay... I guess it's okay that there's this weird kid here... but OMG it dragged on for forever. Aghhhh... terrible terrible. I should just not watch it until I start hearing good things about it again. This last episode, I watched thru it by skipping 10 seconds each time. There was absolutely nothing interesting to see. :/

To be completely honest, both Bleach and Naruto (not Shippuuden, though; Shippuuden's doing pretty well so far) disappointed me, but mostly because I like my anime to be true to the manga.

The anime for Bleach inserted an entire filler arc into the series at random (to be frank, I stopped downloading it after that; I would prefer to just stick with the manga), which really annoyed me, but at least they tried to make sense with that instead of the fifty(-ish), randomised fillers that were inserted into Naruto.

If you shove Shippuuden into the battle, it would definitely be the winner. It's been keeping pretty strictly to the manga (even though it's been separated into a completely different series, which I don't understand at all), which I approve of, but this particular arc isn't one of my favourites, manga or not. I'm just waiting for them to introduce Sai, since Sai is awesome.

Of course, this is only going by how closely they stick to the original stories. I prefer manga to anime, so I don't think I'm qualified enough to go into animation details, and the characters/character development/plot that are/is not involved with the fillers are strictly related to the manga, not the anime.

I think it was somewhere between 85 - 100
