Nope. I understand them, but I don't, and won't, use them.

Well for the manga types, yes (yaoi and etc), other than that no.

If I were talking about manga/anime, and the subject could be more easily described as a tsundere or whatever, than sure, but using it in relation to real life warrants a facepalm of epic proportions.
That seems to be nothing new though.

I understand the words, and I rarely say them, because I'm either joking with my friend or just searching for an information that had those words in it. <3
And yes, I only say them when my friend is around because almost no one at my school understands..so even iff we're joking about it they won't laugh. >__> so I rather keep them to myself.

If there's no good English equivalent, yes, but only on the topic of manga. Eg, manga genres (yaoi, yuri, hentai, shota); and also seme and uke because they are actually a bit different than top and bottom.
I do use words like kawaii but only when I'm speaking all Japanese.

I only use shoujo/shounen to distinguish the manga type... Otherwise, I don't, won't, will try not to use them. Hell, in daily life? NO. Kawaii is overused btw...
And erm, isn't it embarassing if you say a word and you pronounced it wrong and you have to repeat it so the other person would get the hang of what the bell you're trying to say?! yeah...

i dont use the words unless its to explain to my friends what the word is, but one of my friends uses the word desu all the time with her friends and me cus she likes the word.......im not the one saying it so i guess its fine for her to say it, but she doesnt care at all if someone will make fun of her. I think that thats pretty amazing of her.
Hearing an anime fan say, and usually mispronounce, these words in everyday conversation makes me want to throat punch them...so no I don't use them, unless I'm talking about certain things in Japanese, and more often than not not even then.

It is a bit different for me because I am actually living in Japan right now and I am attending Japanese High School. So the words used in manga are more or less everyday words, everyone knows them and uses them. (Kawaii is VERY often used XD) Anyway I copy what I hear so I use them every day too except that I dont just learn them from manga I learn them because of everyday conversations ^.^

I use them among the Otaku only - which means daily (Haven't been in contact with non otaku friends much >_> ) No point of using words that people don't know anyways :\ But the word "kawaii" is super restricted. I don't throw it around like crazed Wapaneses (is that a word? ) I limit myself to about...once per two months

How about when they're cosplaying someone...yet they can't even say the name right o_o I say a punch is not enough...________________
