So my 13 year old brother asked me to introduce him to some manga, which is difficult for me since I'm a 21 year old girl. All the manga I read have "adult situations" in them and I do not want him to be exposed to them just yet. So does anyone know of some CLEAN (as in G-PG), shounen manga with a decent plot? He is really into sports so a sports manga would be a plus. He's also not a big reader so an action one would also be wonderful.

Thanks for your help!

One Piece
Bleach
Dragon Ball (although it does have some adult stuff at the beginning)
Claymore (might be alittle mature for him, but he'll probly like it)
Ruroni Kenshin
Yu Yu Hakusho

It's hard for me to give recommendations that are perfectly suitable for young readers (though in all fairness at thirteen I was already into some very "mature" stuff). Most of the stuff on my list either has lots of violence or lots of sex; and a lot of the time both. Still these might not be too bad:

Kurohime - despite the sexy lead, there's little actual sex going on
Code:Breaker - the main guy kills people, but it doesn't seem all that violent to me. He just sort of activates his power and they're dead without any blood or anything. Then again, I'm all but immune to violence.
Zero In - a little ecchi, but mostly innocent.
Immortal Regis - A little dark actually, but it's quality shounen manwha.

I'll second Claymore since as my favorite manga, it's obligatory for me to do so, but it is pretty violent, to the point where some mistake it for seinen.

And of course all thirteen year old boys seem to love Bleach, Naruto, and/or One Piece.

Sport : try Adachi Mitsuru's titles, I like his manga even though I'm not really into sport. For starter, maybe Katsu!, H2, and Touch will do.

Hmm, I'm recommending Ping Pong, but I'm wondering if the occasional swearing in it would be too much?

Depends what you mean by 'adult', I wouldn't really say it's too bad, yes a tad 'risque' at points, but not really 'adult' as such at all =P

Another recommendation for Fairy Tail here.

Not sure if you're looking for scanlations or printed books, but my boys are 13 & they read:

Case Closed - can be kind of gory since most (all?) of the crimes are murders
Dragon Ball - haven't read this one past the first few volumes but my impression is that it's pretty tame for the most part, aside from a lot of completely unrealistic fighting
Sandland - fighting, I guess...? (haven't read it for a while)
Ranma 1/2 - mild sexual content, unrealistic martial arts combat, lots of humor
Kindaichi Case Files - also can be pretty gory as they investigate murders
One Piece - haven't read beyond the first few volumes but I think it's pretty tame
Oh! My Goddess - some mild sexual content; they're not crazy about it but read it when it's around
Yotsubato! - absurd and hilarious; your brother might not want to admit to his friends that he reads it because it's about a 6-year-old girl, but he'd probably enjoy it
Naruto - they lost interest after the first 15 or so volumes & don't read it anymore, but a lot of kids this age like it

My boys aren't interested in reading stuff on the computer so they haven't read any Adachi - might be too slow-paced and low-key for most 13-year-old boys, or he might enjoy it a lot (I do...).
