Lovely Complex!!!
Still the one of best shoujo I have ever read!
Though I'm more fan of a assassin type seinen manga.

Tokyo Mew Mew. I borrowed it from a friend who borrowed it from a friend in the 4th grade. I read it secretly under my covers because I was afraid my parents would think that the semi-nude transformation scenes were inappropriate. xD

SAILOR MOON. I do not know why, but that was the only anime available on the TV at that time. The next one was Dragon Ball Z.

Dengeki Daisy. Came across it randomly on the internet. Decided to check it out. It was my first manga as well.

Hmm... I'm not too sure but I think it was either Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne or Jikuu Ihoujin Kyoko, both are by Tanemura Arina -sensei. The reason it was these two (I don't remember which was first) cos they were one of the first manga translated in finnish and cos they were a lot cheaper than the english ones I bought and read them. They were okay, but I've since found many better shoujo out there

Mine was probably Skip Beat! I remember spending the first week of vacation catching up with the 100+ chapters.

Cardcaptor Sakura...I don't think I've had a magical girl series I've liked as much since, sigh. I remember having to hunt down the scans for it online (aggregator sites didn't really exist yet) because my mom wouldn't let me borrow it from the library. XD

Kare Kano or X/1999 but I don't remember X/1999 very well nor have I decided to pick it up again since it's technically an incomplete piece. However, I know it's pretty heavy for a manga so can it be considered shoujo?
Actually I don't know what my first shoujo is. It's between Mars, Kodocha, Kare Kano, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Hana Yori Dango. I honestly don't remember since all of those mangas were available at my local library which is where I first encountered manga. I remember my first manga clearly though
