i dont get it is the manga finished or not because it seems that no one continued it but it seems there is a sequel and stuff so is vol 7 is the last?

No, or at least, judging from the point the story is at, no.
It's originally based on a visual novel. Melty Blood, the sequel in question, is based on a doujin fighting game with a plotline that takes place afterward.
In any case I'm fairly certain that the scanlation is not current.

No, at Status in Country of Origin it clearly says "7 Volumes (Ongoing)"
Plus this should be in the Shingetsutan Tsukihime thread It will most likely get moved just to warn you.
