I don't think it's against the rules. I don't know what Uthred has on mind making this thread though. Ô_Ö

ah i thought i remembered that asking "which one scanlates the best" was against the rules (poll or something locked by lamb), and to some extent, i agree: it causes unnecessary drama against groups. Anyway, if its not against da ruules then pardon me and please all give your opinion to this thread
(mine is: i dont have a favorite OP scanlating group bigrazz)

I always read the OP releases from Battle Franky and Binktopia.

I'm not bias to any scanslation groups, infact..I appreciate all the hard work of other scanslation groups have done to promote Oda's works.

I also recall an individual who took the effort to translate Onepiece chapters in my native language, Malay.

Sorry, didnt realise it was a "touchy" subject. I was going to start reading the Whitebeard war arc and was just wondering which scanlation group was generally regarded as superior. While I appreciate the work of all scanlators it often surprises me to see people take to time to translate something into english and then fail to proof-read said english.

Lol. As a reader, I don't think it's a sensitive subject..

..but yea..if the members of the scanslation groups read this thread, they would be liek "WTF, why didn't anyone credit our hardworks?" "We worked our a** off to feed you guys with your weekly dosage of OP!" XD

The question on which groups are 'superior' or 'not' doesn't really matter. Without them, we couldn't been able to read English translated mangas for FREE. (untill it is licensed, that is..)

(although I have to admit, I am very picky on choosing fansub groups when watching J-dramas and anime.. but that's another story)

Franky House or Hueco Mundo.

Either way, they always have the latest chapter whenever it's available. biggrin
