But I don't get it yet...Isn't there a small chance for Yuuki to be with Zero in the future? I mean...come on....I resist to believe that she will stay with Kaname forever...Sure he's hot, charming, misterious, etc. He creates all this master plan to kill Rido in order to protect Yuuki, spending 10 years undercover as a brother and future husband. Ok. Tragic. But Zero. He's like a lost puppy. A loyal one with lack of social skills and a reaaaally, really bad temper but with a kind heart. He was so determined to protect her, that he never let himself to dream about being loved by her, because he didn't want her to be pulled into the vampire world. He sure thinks that his love was tainted. And I'm sure as hell that he didn't want Yuuki be harmed because of him. [/spoiler]

Sure this is a delight for the Kaname fangirls. Happy for them. But I want to be happy too. ¬_¬
I want my Zero-Yuuki end.
Damn. I refused to think that this is the way things will stay. I can't stand lost and loyal puppies being disposed soooo easily.

Allegra01 has a point. Although this chapter seems like such a depressing ending for Zero x Yuki, that might not be official. In fact, anything can be possible until the end of VK.

I didn't find Yuuki extremely passive at all. I think she was "resolute". And it's always interesting to look at how the panels play out during that scene. When Kaname makes that comment to her, Spoiler (highlight to view) her eyes are shaded, and she says nothing.
This same thing harkens back to a moment in one of the earlier volumes, where Zero reminded Yuuki that Spoiler (highlight to view) the one she needs is Kaname, yet Yuuki seemed to be speaking as if it's Zero that she needed.
I also find it strange that Yuuki never got a chance to sort out her feelings for Zero since v 5, with the near Spoiler (highlight to view) kiss. She sees that Zero acts like it's nothing to him, and gets sort of depressed in v6, and she tries to convince herself that it was just this, or that, and starts blushing.
I also find it really strange that she "says" she Spoiler (highlight to view) loves Kaname, and only wants to drink his blood, but throughout nearly most of the manga, her thoughts revolve around Zero, she can spot him with his back turned anywhere he's at, and whenever she needs to talk to someone, instead of going to the person she says she loves the most, her footsteps instinctly lead her to Zero's door....
But I could just be overthinking things, lol.
With Yuuki's Spoiler (highlight to view) "parting" words , I definitely predictSpoiler (highlight to view) a nice future reunion.

Spoiler (highlight to view) not completly sure if zero can hold out for the vampire blood in him and not become a level E, so it would be better to stay with kaname.
even though the pure blood from yuuki would help against the process, but didn't they say that it only slows it down, or did zero's awekening stop the transformation?

I think that it will be Zero (even if I am for Kaname...)
Spoiler (highlight to view) Becuse wasnt said that Kaname is the ancestor of the Kuran family and was only resurct or somthing like that to marry Yuki?
maybe I am wrong butthat could lead to events where Yuki Kaname or zero think it will better if he (Kaname) is dead

Yep, because didn't Kaname Spoiler (highlight to view) drink Shizuka's blood, and then have Zero drink his blood also?
He needed Zero Spoiler (highlight to view) to get rid of Rido for him, so there was no point in letting him fall to Level E, aside from the yuuki thing...

To pre-Vamp Yuuki the thought of being with Kaname is a dream. It's an unattainable dream. It's only natural that she would be able to talk to Zero a lot easier about things than Kaname since Zero was there and attainable.
Now that she's a vampire as well the wall between them is gone. She has the chance to be with him romantically like she always wanted.
Zero is a person is there and easier to attain. He's a "lost puupy", as someone said earlier, that Yuuki needs to look after. Of course her thought would revolve around Zero she's worried about him since she feels she has to take care of him. Most of her thought about Zero have been worry or concerned thoughts. Pretty much the only romantic thoughts that Yuuki has ever expressed in the story has been about Kaname.

Actually I think that the Zero x Yuuki pairing is more predictable. If you use the traditional shoujo format where the heroine always picks the man that is either the meanest to her or the one that is the most tragic and needs the most work to fix. Besides they spent nearly the entire story so far in developing Zero x Yuuki's relationship[with little developments in the Kaname relationship along the way].
Having her go with Kaname even after Zero "confessed" to her is the biggest twist so far. Since in Shoujo it's never the one that's been with the girl the longest that she falls in love with. It's usually the only that shows up and sweeps her off her feet during the course of the story.
