When you are willing to spend hundreds of bucks on Raw anime/manga that you can't even read.

Spending those same amounts of money on anime/manga you can read would also be a sign of otakuness.

You know, PoT for me used to be Star Wars: Planet of Twilight (a book in the extended universe that most people don't like, but I do.)

But yeah, I can see thinking Prince of Tennis first now, even though I'm still a huge SW fan. =)

(I don't care how much manga I read, SW will always be Star Wars and nothing else.)

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

From a bumper sticker I like:

So...I'm not the only one who does that? That's a bit of a relief.


- You can find exactly the chapter you want in a series of 20+ volumes

- You skip class because you're rereading the climax of a good series and can't be bothered to stop for something so unimportant

- Get a MU account because otherwise, you can't keep track of what you're reading anymore

- You suddenly realized you just bought another ten volumes of manga online in under a minute and a half*
*Time limit subject to change according to internet speed

- Turn on your computer as soon as you wake up just to see what was released while you were asleep

- Get mad at yourself when your friends know something you don't manga-related

- Start feeling "lost" if you haven't read anything new in a few hours

- Can guess (within a day or two) when that new manga will arrive because you've bought so many online

- Read all fourteen pages of this topic and can still think of more things to add
