BEST OVERALL MANGA: Shin Angyo Onshi even with the odd ending, its one of the few ones that actually have everything rolled in together plus great art, and still going strong ES

Manga I'm loving ATM: Heart no Kuni no Alice

BEST OVERALL MANGA: Pumpkin Scissors. damn, the plot could become soo kick ass.
WORST OVERALL MANGA: possibly inuyasha. dammit, it should have ended like five years ago along with one piece.
BEST ACTION SERIES: claymore. just decided to read it a few months ago and shit, it wuz a VERY good decision.
BEST COMEDY SERIES: soul eater. i watched the anime first and it made me shit myself. the manga was an afterthought, but better than the anime.
BEST HORROR SERIES: jack frost. i found it a bit funny also.
BEST ROMANCE: to-love-ru. nah, kidding. probably kimi no iru machi
BEST SHOUNEN: Mahou Sensei Negima! one of the first shounen manga i have ever read and it stuck with me.
BEST SEINEN: akumetsu. no need for an explanation.
BEST JOSEI: dont read any.
BEST SHOUJO: dont read any besides count cain and vampire knight. not really 2008 material.
BEST NEW SERIES: bakuman. has potential to become my favorite.
MOST USELESS CHARACTER: lau from kuroshitsuji. he is such a prick.
MOST USEFUL CHARACTER: lelouch from code geass. not much of a fan of the manga but code geass is the best anime and he is the coolest anime character.
FIERCEST CHARACTER: isley from claymore. god damn hes cool.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: general cross dying or going away or whatever.
BEST OVERALL FEMALE CHARACTER: kaede from negima. kick ass ninja (REAL ninja) chick.

PRETTIEST OVERALL CHARACTER: lots. haha. maybe Ghenna again.

MOST HANDSOME OVERALL CHARACTER: shirogane from monochrome factor. i dunno. as a guy, i dont pay much attention.
STUPIDEST VILLAN: anybody from the current akatsuki. all the cool ones are dead (deidara).
MOST AWE INSPIRING VILLIAN: dio from jojos bizarre adventure. how can nobody see the epicness of the whole plot here?
WORST HERO: asuna from negima. stupid, arrogant, ignorant bitch.
BEST HERO: im sorry. its kurapika from hunter x hunter. he in the only good point of the manga and im still reading it with the hope that he (or the author) will return and fix the fucked up story.
MOST ANTICLAMTIC FIGHT: nagi vs whoever is the big bad in negima. that was like an instant ko in nagis part when he was totally drained. funny but stupid.
HANDSDOWN BEST FIGHT: gaara vs deidara ONLY IN THE ANIME! the manga version was short and lame. the manga only winner goes to dr. stein vs medusa
BIGGEST WTF MOMENT: when ciel (kuroshitsuji) didnt believe freckles was a girl he grabbed some booby. i know this happens a lot but this one really made me laugh

Why on earth would you revive a 3 year old topic about mangas of 2008?

People whine and betch about necromance'd topics as if they've never seen them before and as if it's the end of the world.
Honestly, it's bound to happen in forums as dead as these. It's a wonder why a site admin hasn't locked/put a warning on topics older than a year/half year/etc based on the amount of complaining that goes on.
