How about the many times where the male main gets lost with the girl you're rooting for (not always the girl he goes for though...though it posses me off last time it happened) in the woods and has to spend the night with her (never sex, but often ecchi) only to find out in the morning that their de ...

Uhm, is this a shoujo cliche, maybe not..

Maybe, yeah, kinda annoying

I hate it when the main love interest or main character has selective/full amnesia.

1. Most female lead are just plain bad at Maths and gets tutored by love interest cause apparently he is the best in that subject.
Argh. Is Maths really that horrible of a subject? =_=

2. Having to do class duties with love interest and while writing in the class diary, gets dokidoki cause they are alone in class

3. Related to 2, friends of MC tease him/her about them doing class duties together.

4. Normally the love interest is someone sitting next to them / had sat next to them

5. As metioned before, going dokidoki and blush when the guy corners the female lead.
Really, do people really do that in real life? Aren't you supposed to afraid? Like the dokidoki is out of fear rather than shyness due to close proximity? Oh, the guy doesn't have to be the love interest either. Just any plain old guy in the school and the symptoms will appear. That just makes me wanna strangle her mad

Well, all in all I don't mind cliche 2-4 if done right. And there is a manga that kinds of parody the cliches in shoujo : Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

One of the worse ones is when they have a confusing and conflicting romance and when they go out somewhere, maybe to look for the other, they just happen to miss each other by a hair. Like they're on opposite sides of a column or something. Like, why is this such a big scene??

Or when there is a love triangle and the girl ALWAYS goes for the black haired meanie. Like, he is tormenting you all the time and you have another guy is super nice to you, why would you choose the troubled bad boy EVERY SINGLE TIME?

I always get annoyed by the fan girls. You know, if the main guy or target is so great and loves the gf or love interest, he should do something about the bullying. Maybe not hit them, although there are plenty of girls who need a good slap, but yell, threaten, report, humiliate them into submission. And not a week or two later, like ASAP.

I mean, I'm annoyed that girls always worry 100% about their relationship when there is more to the world but that is what society expects and teaches girls, especially in Japan and China where birth rates are low.

worst one in my opinion is when the male lead is a jerk and the girls still goes for him even when there is a rival guy that is much nicer. sigh, i just dont get these girls.

#1 - Hero/heroine getting cold & being nursed back to health by heroine/hero + possible delirium in which the sick person gets naughty and can't remember it afterwards.

#2 - Heroine burning herself & hero holding her hand to put it beneath the tap.

#3 - Hero 'stealing' heroine's first kiss and the heroine being like 'wahhhh this is the worst moment of my life... but he's so cute! DOKI DOKI'.

None of these things are infuriating the first time you see them, but they are if you're a fan of shoujo manga and have seen them EIGHT BILLION TIMES. I guess it's a 'stick with what works' type of thing, but come on, there's merit in originality too!

I am also annoyed by:

#4 - Hero/heroine washing rice with dish soap and heroine/hero finding this cute. This doesn't happen that much - I've seen it maybe 4 times - but it's just stupid. I suck at cooking too, but there's such a thing as common sense.

Falling in love with the second male lead first (usually Prince Charming with white hair) and later falling even harder for the first male lead (usually bad boys with dark hair). Lel.

That being said, it nonetheless works, because we girls love it.

The airheads, helpless, dependient heroines... The super-human guys that not only are perfect doing everything, they also are rich, and oh so good looking. That kind of male lead gets old really fast dead

I also have read so many mangas with bad boys that falls for the girl who is clumpsy and useless at... everything, really, but they are so cute and pure at heart that they manage to make him change. Really, i have read that so many times that i can't seem to stand it anymore none

When the girl, who is in love with a popular boy (rich, famous or idol of the class, country...) starts a fake relationship with him and, at the end, he falls too in love with her.

Well, adding to this a sudden breakup in the second to last chapter, where the boy finally finds his true fellings and has to do some kind of "emotive action" in the last chapter to regain her.

When attractive Character A who may god forbid everyone (even the local gang down the block) adores and loves eventually develops feelings for average-looking character B because Character B displays no interest or attachment to Character A... and then Character B suddenly falls for Character A because they are just absolutely perfect.

Gross.

The type of girl who has no talent and just sucks at basically everything and is always dependent on the main guy. But then the guy just falls in love with her. I mean, seriously? What the hell do you see in that type of girl?!

Quote from Zacharias
I find it particulary funny how fast people (in a manga) get seriously ill from walking in rain or staying in the bath too long smile
It always starts with a cold !
They should get some more white bloodcells bigrazz

+1!!!
The classmates at school freak out if someone stays home with a cold.. Or go to the infirmary for stumbling in gym class....
