Leo in Beast Master maybe cute, but the male characters in his other works are really manly. I was reading Dengeki Daisy and I was like "Damn, it's different when the mangaka is male. He CAN draw guys."

here is greenwood. Where every male looks like a male. Except that one and his little brother, but that's intentional. One of the earlier examples of a trap. 
On second thought, maybe its just the anime ova that's like that.

I wonder if you are talking about the character or the art. I, too, prefer reading shoujo where the male is a man rather than a boy. But then again I am 29
