We had a minor site update today. Firstly, the series section has been upgraded, and we will start populating it with new series. If you would like to help, you can goto the "My Releases" section after registering for an account and hitting the "Add Series" button. I have added a sample series "Open Sesame" as an example of how it works. Anyone who has an account can contribute to a series by clicking the "Edit" button for the specific item they wish to update. Several other minor things have been upgraded as well. I hope everything works, but if it doesn't, please add a comment to this news entry.
Update: I changed the reviews section around a bit. It looks a little nicer now. Check it out [url=reviews.html]here[/url]. More things to come.

Oh, here's the link; it's on ebay, so I'm hoping I can get it...even tho I can't read any japanese ^^;

The difference between this recruitment and simply signing up on the website is not much, except that you will get operator status in our irc channels and will be expected to update on a more regular basis. We would appreciate it if everyone would please only sign up for an account under the SCANLATORS submenu only if you are going to help contribute back to the manga community. By registering for an account, we are expecting you to make use of the extra feature. That is we are expecting you to submit releases or groups to help contribute to the database, which in turn manga fans in general will benefit from.
If you are not up for the above, we ask you please not to sign up for an account because it will do you little good. It will only waste our webspace.
**One last notice about email authentication. Please email autheniticate your accounts right after your application. We are almost receiving this daily and we have no choice but to delete your account at that point.
Some users are still not email authenticating. We have no choice but to delete your accounts in those cases. If you are still confused about the steps to activating an account, they are 1. sign up for an account 2. email authenticate. The last step involves us approving the account, but this part is not in your control so don't worry about it.
