KUON Michiyoshi are a married couple who write hentai and male-oriented manga. The wife is mostly in charge of the manga while the husband is mostly in charge of character design and illustrations, though they do alternate their share of work. The wife first debuted writing teen's love manga under pen name Melomeloco (メロメロ子) before teaming up with the husband and publishing work as KUON Michiyoshi. The wife previously worked as an assistant for TAMAKOSHI Hiroyuki before debuting.
They suspended all activities as KUON Michiyoshi, including doujin activities under the husband's circle, Bread & Cakes Pictures (パンとケーキ), after the husband had to begin treatment for a chronic disease in 2019.
Since 2019, the wife began writing all-ages and female-oriented manga under the pen name, AYAO Gen (綾尾幻) and publishes doujinshi as Gen (幻) under circle name, Honobono Bakudan (仄仄爆弾).
