Kathryn Ross was born in 1966 in Africa, where her parents happened to live at the time. She was educated in Ireland and England. As a child she wrote animal and adventure stories for her friends and younger sister. At thirteen she was editor of her school magazine and wrote her first one-act play for entry into a Tidy Towns Competition, and won.
Kathryn became a professional beauty therapist, but writing has always been her first love. Happily in 1989, at twenty-three, she was accepted by Mills & Boon, who were the only publishers she ever approached with her work. Since then, she has written over thirty novels now and is still as much in love with writing as ever and never plans to stop.
Kathryn lives in Lancashire, England, is married and has inherited two delightful stepsons.
