Teresa Southwick is the author of 4 historical and over 40 contemporary romance novels. A four-time National Reader’s Choice and one-time Rita finalist, she is also a Romantic Times Magazine Reviewer’s Choice double nominee for Career Achievement and Best Series Romance for 2003. She won the latter award.
She was born in California, one of six children and there wasn’t much room in her small house for being alone. Her favorite place was the swing set in the backyard where she spent many hours giving her imagination all the space it needed to roam free. All that back and forth movement could explain her love of vacationing on cruise ships.
A native Californian, she has also lived in Texas, but now makes her home in Las Vegas. Amid the casinos, cactus and rocks which she now views as landscaping, she’s hard at work on her next romance novel. Mostly because writing is what she loves to do but partly because it’s too hot to go outside. No matter what they say about the desert being a dry heat, she will never be convinced that triple digit temperatures are balmy.
