Aoki Ume was classmates with MATSUDA98, creator of Honoka Level Up! and Tetsudou Musume.
Aoki-sensei also drew the designs for the characters for the Puella Madoka Magica anime.
She illustrates under the pennames apricot+ for many of her dōjinshi, and Apply Fujimiya (藤宮 アプリ Fujimiya Apuri) for the visual novel Sanarara.
