TAKAHASHI Hideyasu was born on December 2nd, 1975, in Iwate Prefecture. In 1988, he won honorable mention in the 43rd Shougakukan Newcomer Comic Competition in the children's category with his manga, "Karakuri Hanabimaru." He officially debuted in 1990 with "Boku wa Rocket!" in Shougakukan's Bessatsu Korokoro Comic. His most prominent work is "Kaitou Joker." His hobbies include rakugo (traditional Japanese comedic storytelling) and going to see plays.
