Born in Glasgow's Gorbals district, somewhere in the dark distant past, Katsura uses her colourful upbringing to create a world of gangsters and wise-guys. Principal author of the Big Deal Yaoi series and author of the British comedy/farce, Stumbledirt (as P.M. Leckie), she likes to think she can weave a good yarn while throwing in a healthy amount of laughter for good measure.
On the rare occasions when she is not writing, she enjoys cooking, travel and playing with a whole bunch of Asian ball-jointed dolls.
