He started drawing comics when he was in high school. He debuted with "Katsu-gai" in Weekly Shonen Jump drawn when he was in the first year of Takahashi High School in Okayama Prefecture. After working as NAKAJIMA Norihiro's assistant, he debuted in 1974 with Doberman Keiji.

His other works including, Ricky Typhoon and Dosu Koi Jigoro, which represent wrestling sports, and both manga have been introduced with many sexy representations.

On July 21, 2015, the television program "Mando Kobayashi" hosted by Kendo Kobayashi was broadcasted, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the series Doberman Keiji and the 30th anniversary of the Black Angels. Since the spring of 2015 he publishes his work, which is an illustration of his masterpiece, called "Mansho"(漫書). These works can be purchased in the exhibition spaces and online.

His hobby is to see martial arts. Even after the age of 60, there is a stoic aspect of actively working in volunteer activities without missing out on daily training.
