Japanese illustrator and mangaka. Graduated from Ritsumeikan University with a degree in Japanese literature. She is famous for portraying Chinese and Korean history in her works. Currently lives in Kyoto.

Also she has done character designs for games such as "Granado Espada" and "Soukaigi".

The kanji for her name is 名月 but she is credited in hiragana for her works.
