Born in Aichi prefecture in 1969. In 1998, the submitted work "AREA" won the 43rd Shogakukan Newcomer Comic Award. It would be published in the special issue of the Big Comic Original Newcomer Comic Awards (Shogakukan) and would make his debut. In 2001, the psychological horror "Kyoichi" was serialized in Big Comic Superior (Shogakukan), and in 2002, "HEADS" based on Keigo Higashino's novel was serialized in (Shuukan) Young Sunday (Shogakukan).
