As a child his favorites are Kurenai Sanshirou and Stop! Niichan. Then in high school he started copying Typhoon Goro and brought them to Saito Pro every once a week to get evaluated and hoping to be an assistant. Later he brought his drawings to SATO Masaaki whose house were close to his and eventually recruited as assistant the day after. He also worked under OGATA Kyoji and KAWASAKI Noboru.

FUKUMOTO Nobuyuki, WATANABE Michio, KIMOTO Fumikiyo and HORII Hiroshi were once his assistants

He passed away on October 2nd, 2022 due to pancreatic cancer
