Received the 13th Akatsuka Award second prize when he was an assistant to TORIYAMA Akira. Then debuting in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, and serialized in the same magazine. Since then, 5 works have been serialized in Jump series magazines for 15 years. Also goes by Hisuwashi, which TAKEKUMA Kentaro said as bad example of a pen name on Saruman.

Now a lecturer, at Department of Design and Fine Arts, Ogaki Women's Junior College.
