New Feature: Genre Search

Okay, yes, I know--we should have had this feature a LONG time ago; however I just so happened to have about 20 minutes tonight to make this great addition to the site. You can find the option at the bottom of the series page, or you can jump there now by clicking here!

Enjoy the new feature.

[edit] Also, think i fixed the "Search for releases of this series" in the series page. Lots of people have been complaining about that. [/edit]

I'm back

I'm back. I was gone for a few days because of school (too much hw piled up before break). This is particularly why there are a few older releases up today.

Thankfully, the site was still able to operate while I was gone. I'd like to continue to encourage people to use the release submission tool! It's main purpose is to increase update speed and quality. So don't be shy! Register today and have control over how people see your releases.

New Viz Titles for March

VIz.com has announced that there is three new mangas they are releasing this month:
Black Cat, Vol, 1, Godchild, Vol 1 and R.O.D: Read Or Die, Vol. 1.

Black Cat Synopsis

Black Cat is about a former assassin, Train, and a former investigator, Sven. While Train was an assassin, he was known as Black Cat. He used to work for an organization known as Chronos. Chronos controls the world and maintains the peace. It has 13 of its own assassins. Train was the 13th.

Train and Sven are now bounty hunters, known as Sweepers. Train bears the number 13, in roman numerals, on his left chest and on his gun. Sven wears an eye patch over his right eye. They make their living going from place to place and catching bounties.

Black cat is currently also a anime series being shown in Japan and is still ongoing now and is a good mix of comedy and action.

Black Cat is expected for release on 3/7/06

Godchild Synopsis

Deep in the heart of 19th Century London, a young nobleman named Cain walks the shadowy cobblestone streets of the aristocratic society into which he was born. Yet beneath his regal bearing lies a pained existence that haunts his very soul. Forced to become an Earl upon the untimely death of his father, Cain assumes the role of head of the Hargreaves, a noble family with a dark past. With Riff, his faithful manservant, Cain investigates his father's alleged involvement with a secret organization known as Delilah.

Godchild (Formally known as Count Cain) is a manga written by Kaori Yuki, the writer of Angel Santuary.

GodChild is expected for release on 3/7/06

R.O.D. Read or Die Synopsis

Yomiko is called in to use her special talents to recover a rare book that was stolen from the library 20 years ago. Her commander, a mysterious gentleman simply known as "Joker," has set up a deal to buy the book from the very man who stole it - the slippery Mr. Woo. When accused of the crime, Woo retaliates by attacking Joker but finds himself foiled by the paper-wielding Yomiko. But he's a slippery fella and has a trick or two of his own up his sleeve. Will it be enough to defeat the likes of the determined Ms. Readman?

Read or Die was written into a well known OVA which was continued and combined by it's sister manga called R.O.D. Read or Dream to make the successful R.O.D. TV.

R.O.D. Read or Die is expected for release on 3/21/06

Note to all:

Please submit a group before you submit a release. It is getting very annoying.
