I wouldn't rate it as "bad"--it has a lot of quality manga work in it--but it's just not my type. Why? Because it was a little too gentle--there wasn't enough drama to keep my interest. Sex is quick, with no building tension, and mostly falls flat because of the disjointed and boring plotting. Even though the art is competent, emotional and fresh--no bishies for a change--and the scanlation is well done, nothing can save either the title story or the second story from themselves.

Maybe it's an awkward translation or maybe the story itself is just awkward, but the plot and relationships jumped all over the place with no explanation; as one minor example, she's friends with a girl, betrayed by said girl, suddenly friends again with same girl, no intervening scenes. The romance is bizarre: unexplainable, too jerky and uneven to be connecting, making it unemotional. Just frustratingly awkward.

Koi Nanka Hajimaranai	---	Cute, but at times the boy's bullying was a bit drawn out too much, especially the verbal put downs (but he was smiling, so it's all good...?) The art is passable, the story is simple and light. But it is so done. If you're a regular shoujo reader, give this one a pass--it's unremarkable. If you're new to shoujo, you may enjoy this more (read: not get as bored as quickly), but there are far better places to start: try Koi Shitagari no Blue by this same author--it's good!......

Yagyuu Hijouken Samon	---	The narration is heavy and cumbersome, so much so that it bogs a potentially dynamic story down to an emotionally disconnected crawl. The art is fantastic; the story base itself and several scenes presented more intuitively capture the essence of the samurai "do", but the image-word interaction pushed me away instead of drawing me closer to the characters.
