This might be a controversial take for some, but one form of "gambling" young people are increasingly involved in is crypto currency speculation. Though I suppose you could say it isn't "gambling" if it isn't a "game".

I like to do scratchcards. They're my go-to gambling method. Been doing them since my dad gave me my first scratchcard when I was 7. That was back in '94. 😁

A more specific title for this poll could be: "What least used forms of gambling do you do?"

After all, you left out cryptos, stocks or any other forms of currency that's issued from central banks.

This is the first time I've seen a poll with a choice that has 0%, and in this case it's horse racing. Not surprising since the average age of people who still go to horse races is >40 (yes I just googled this), which is probably higher than the average age of people using this site. I'd be curious to see if that number goes up at all by the end of the poll.

I play the lottery weekly.

This poll reminds me that, many years ago, I accompanied my granny to a casino (she is still alive, don't ask how old she is, and don't ask how old I am). I thought it would be kind of fun, but my grandmother spent all the money. I went with her only once, but she went alone several times. I think she spent a good amount of thousands of dollars and never won anything. And of course, she never said anything about it. She just stopped talking about gambling.

I think the croupiers and the bar people have a really great time watching people go crazy.

ill roll on the lottery whenever it passes certain numbers, I mean you have to play to have a chance, and I like the small chance I get, but most of my betting is in stocks, mostly areas where I can legitimately consider myself an expert, so I almost never loose those bets long term, people selling off in large numbers however has hurt me in the past, but over time im always up.

In my mind 😁

Mostly due to my belief that the sports leagues in my country are pretty much screenwritten and scripted by the same forces that do Hollywood blockbusters and dramas plus Las Vegas controlling the action ensuring the desired outcome for them just like one of their casino games. This past decade has been insane.

I've learnt the points spread for American Football games at an early age and pretty much my entire family are huge horse racing fans, I watch races on youtube from time-to-time -- both thoroughbred and harness -- and I seem to be pretty good on who's gonna get to the wire first.

I like to gamble. I think it's pretty fun. If you are a little versed in the topic then there are chances to make money. More like to bet on football and play poker.

Only the lottery. I haven't really won anything significant nor do I count on it happening. The lottery here is managed by the government though and most of the revenue is used to fund charities for the healthcare of impoverished folk, so I've never really thought of the money spent as a loss. Plus one ticket costs just around 0.50 USD.
