Posting old releases
A reminder that tomorow, August 7, will be the last day for posting previous releases. We would like to ask everyone to stop reporting old releases at that time so August 8 should not have any old releases. We may continue something like this in the future. You can all be assured that you will be notified well in advance if we do.

If you have looked through our groups database, you may have spotted some groups without a channel. Those are not mistakes. They are indeed groups without channels, but they still release their scanlations through their websites. Hope this clears things up.

Just want to ask you and maybe this represent some groups too

Since you opened the service to post releases for readers, looks like the readers have taken the freedom to post the title themselves just like you wanted.

My question is if somehow some groups don't like that and don't want their releases and their groups to be included in your database, will you remove them if the groups ask ?

I'm not quite sure that this service for readers is really needed. It's better if you only give permission for groups to post releases so it's all down to the manga groups themselves wether they would like to announce the releases on your site or not.

There have been some bad issues with this kind of service in the past. Some people tend to report fake releases to mock some group or in order to make a certain group being flamed by people.

Thanks for yout time

As you might know, the Net is far more vast than just B-U alone so stopping people from posting on our site will not solve the problem. We believe that all the fans that uses our site are responsible fans or else we wouldn't be coming up with this service. However, if you are one of such group that is really sceptical about being pranked upon by our users, we will screen all your releases before updating them. Nothing is updated until we approved them. We can take it to the next level if you would like by double checking with your website(s) before finalizing a posting. Just come to our channel and contact me. Hope this solves your concern.

I noticed today that there were some multiple listings for releases (namely Ichigo 100% ch 75). Not only that, but the credits to some were inaccurate, such as listing only one group or getting the name wrong (ass-troop?).

My question is are there really people screening these?

We are screening them, but mistakes do happen since we're all pretty new to manga. That said, however, we try our best to fix them when we notice them or when we're are informed of them.

This is a completely fans run website. Like any other services ran in this manner, we are continually learning and improving so please bare with us.
