My info came from the chat logs posted BY NCIS (though highly edited i might add) and from others on the scene. Lurk decided to wait 1 day, but even that dosent seem to have appeased NCIS, though its a bit pointless. Since even with that it only takes a few hours for their releases to be posted elsewhere, so they haven't really achieved anything.
My post used NCIS as an example of groups getting to demanding of thier fans, but was also aimed at ALL groups like that. NCIS was just the most recent, and as far as i know, the only one to make demands of lurk

um like i said as of this morning there was no problem.. now i'm not so sure... you've sparked a fire in me and some other of our staff members since you were so outspoken in your lies >_>'' and i know very well that you have a personal agenda/vendetta so whatever ...

Well, i just posted the chat logs (again highly edited) that NCIS posted. And when i get back home i'll edit it again to add the other info i got, both from the NCIS website, chat room and Lurk chat room.
Blogs are always about personal views, mines no different. I hate groups that try and place restrictions on their releases and i have no quams about voicing my views. I also don't edit or delete posts that conflict with mine (unlike the staff over at NCIS i might add who deleted both of my posts a few days ago just before i made the inital post)

Neways dude it's clear you have a grudge and are the one with your head up your "arse" <-- to quote you.. and well enjoy your little spotlight i'm gonna go edit now since you've wasted so much of my time

That Viz is listening is quite awesome. I suppose I fear it could be improbable that they'll be able to make the responsible people do their job better, but I do really hope for a brighter future for manga. Yeah, if companies like Viz got "smarter" with honorifics and such, that'll mean general fans get smarter too...

I'm also so happy about this. How many times I've read an "official" translation and thought that if they'd just done a little bit of research beforehand (such as going through some scanlations or whatever), they wouldn't come up with such stupid errors. We do deserve better, considering we're expected to pay money for these.
