Not sure whether to cheer for them, or be skeptical and slowly back away.

Yeah I'm still gonna avoid their licensed manga like the plague, and pray that they don't go on another license grabbing spree.

And watch your money go down the drain when they decide to pack up again? Dropping series isn't anything new to them. I'm just lucky I never got caught up in that.

I just hope they don't continue that horrendous trend in their translations of forced slang. It's definitely what threw me away from their titles.

I'm honestly not expecting much from it. I just wish they'd do reprints of some series that went out of print some time ago (NHK novel for example) or got them on this new print-on-demand thing. It'd also be nice if they finished some of the series they dropped but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

After they dropped some of my fav series, i'm not buying anything from them. harrumph
I suspect fan grudges go deep

I would very much like it if they would put out the last two volumes of future diary as well.

Good for those people getting their jobs back, but otherwise, I have no care for Tokyopop works and titles.

As long as they pick up Chronicles of the Cursed Sword again, I don't care what else they do.

Tokyopop went "virtual". Oy... =__=;; I stopped caring when they started to bloat themselves with licenses and shoddy paper quality. Stu Levy had his chances to keep his company as healthy as Viz, yet, nah... I'll forever remember the company as a "Mixxzine pioneer", and that's about it.

If they improve themselves worthy of a second chance, it would be a huge miracle. The English translated manga (+ manhwa) world, in the bookstores, have so far thrived well with TP gone. I like seeing a lot of other manga publishing companies having their shots at being noticed. Now, if only one of these active companies can get a brain and start localizing a lot of great Zero-Sum/Sum Ward manga..., that would be great. I can't keep carrying back Zero-sum manga from Taiwan all the time...

It'd be nice if they could finish the twelve kingdoms novels. even with their so-so translation. There was only two left for the main story and another pair for side stories. Even better they pick up Kino's journey again and don't drop it after one book. mad

I'm still annoyed with some of the incomplete series blah. -__- I don't think they have many fans left with their horrible exit.

I still have hope for Fruit Basket and Mars! The used copies have unreasonable prices, so I'm still waiting for a miracle...
