New Poll - Coffee
This week's poll was suggested by Sherryl. I'm not an expert in coffee (as I don't drink it), so I have no clue how many poll options I'm missing. I'm sure someone will tell me how wrong I am. Some time ago I would say I don't drink coffee... But then I found Caramel Machiatto... I suppose I also sometimes drink ice cappuccino, but that barely qualifies as coffee or cappuccino and lately I drink Machiatto more often anyway

I can count the number of times I've drank coffee on one hand (3 times), and I didn't enjoy myself any of those times. I'd much rather stick to tea.

Mocha. In fact, I drink a homemade one every day. I think I've only bought coffee from a shop ~5 times in my entire life. Since ours is a tea-drinking country, readymade coffee tends to be damn expensive; better to make my own to taste instead of wasting money.
I don't like black coffee; too bitter. Latte, Macchiato, Capuccino all sound pretty good. Iirc I've had Capuccino and Latte, once each.

Macchiato.
Where I live everyone drinks lots of coffee, when going out or catching up with someone or after eating .... and it's very dark, so I ended up preferring Macchiato and a glass or water over the others. Since having more than three espressos in a row, will make you stop wanting any for the next month.
Though I'll take a tea/infusion over an Americano or a Mocha (or in another country ...cough..Netherlands/ outside south Europe...).
There is also one that's a bit darker I prefer over Manchiato. 😁

I never got into the taste of coffee myself. Did I imagine that there was a similar poll about caffeine source already? I wonder if coffee vs. non-coffee is attributed to non-coffee drinkers preferring tea or energy drinks, etc, or if it's just a taste thing.

Breakfast in my country is literally called "morning coffee". Even kids drink coffee here. Learning that nearly half of you guys don't drink it at all is mind-boggling lol.

Suprised that almost half don't like coffee at all. Caffeine was pretty much a requirement back in my uni days. I prefer tea to be honest, but if I had to choose, I'd like my coffee black.

Well, I drink coffee sometimes, but I don't even know the difference (latte, espresso, americano, etc?). As long as there's milk and brown sugar in my coffee, I'm good.

I love coffee, but I'm particularly fond of black coffee.

Now I'm curious if the community is more tea-based? I put a poll suggestion in this regard. I'm definitively a Tea team person.
I like coffee but mostly when it's sweet and I don't have the stuff to make good coffee anyway (or the knowledge).
I have a "Senseo" machine my mom had bought long ago and I repaired it recently because she was complaining that there's no coffee to drink at my place. I don't really like these machines because you need to buy special expensive "pods" to use it, which is much more expensive than just buying grinded coffee so I looked up if there are some tricks to it. Turns out you can just buy a reusable metallic pod and you just put your own coffee inside and it works like any other coffee machine.
