Plot/Story: This manga focuses on the life of two roommates in high school - Fujishima Takara and Kousaka Kyomine. Things don't start off too well when Kousaka causes Fujishima to be kicked out of the opening ceremony. Due to the death of his grandmother (his mother and grandfather are already dead, and his father's work takes him abroad), Fujishima misses the first month or so of school, and when he moves into the dorms, his roommate is of course, no other than Kousaka. As a result, they fight a lot...of course, this doesn't change much in their relationship. However what does change is that they become close friends, with Fujishima relying on Kousaka to help fill the void left behind from his lack of family.

Characters: The characters are really well done and likeable. In addition to the two principles, there are other supporting characters from the dorms as well as friends from school. They all have unique personalities, and some of the side characters are even given thier own back stories.

Drawing Style: I happen to like this style a lot. There's a lot of really cute/funny elements.

Enjoyment: This is one of my favorite mangas period. Even though it's labeled Shounen ai there's hardly any shounen ai at all, and it surprised me that it's even labeled that. There is occassional kissing, but it's all done in innocence and it's very sweet, not lewd or provoking. There may be some more BL later on, but it's already in the 8th volume, with nothing being developed. There's hardly a romance to speak of between the two main characters - they're just really close and it can be taken as either they're friends or they like each other.

Overall: Highly recommended

Kyomine's name is HOSAKA, not Kousaka.. are you sure you've read it?

I really enjoy this series and definitely recommend it if you're for a sweet and amusing school story. I look forward to each chapter that is slowly being translated. Wow, 26 volumes. Hmm, should I start learning japanese now?

This is one of my most fave manga aswelll. Such a cute story. It just has me wishing there was much more to it than a hug or using each other as pillows sigh. But I guess it's hard to hate since it's just so loveable.
The other books i've read by the same mangaka seem to have a "hardly" can be called shounen-ai theme... maybe 20-30 (or less) of what the mangaka draws might be yaoi (from what i've read). Other than that its just cute stories that just happens to have two boys as it's main protagonists.
