This is by far the WORST manga I have ever read. It has not plot, very boring, and the art is HORRIBLE.
Plot/Story
Skectchbook has NO PLOT. That's right, NO PLOT. I thought slice of life magnas were actually able to have a plot but this ones has NO PLOT.
Characters
The characters are the only good partof this horridly boring manga. The are likable, but they fail a good introduction. But they are goo characters.
Drawing Style
The drawing style, is HORRIBLE. It's so simplistic and so badly drawn that it makes this manga hard, and unenjoyable to read.Better art would have been nice.
Enjoyment
This manga is horridly boring, not funny, and the jokes are corny. THIS MANGA IS JUST NOT FUNNY AND IS HORRIDLY BORING. It is a poor excuse for a slice of life comedy. Other great titles like Azumanga Daioh, Aria, Yotsubato, and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou are A LOT better. Don't waist your time with this dull unfunny piece of trash manga.
Overall
The verdict: 2
DONT READ THIS MANGA. You will regret it.
If you want to rant about the uselessness of a manga, I suggest you use the Onemanga/Mangafox forums or something. This is supposed to be a review- in other words, an (almost) unbiased weighing of the pros and cons of a series. Your personal opinion is not a review- it's a rant. You're entitled to your feelings for this book, but please don't try to pass it off as a 'review'. Frankly, I don't have any idea why the moderators even allowed this to be posted.
To would-be readers;
Sketchbook is simple and refreshing. Some of the jokes do fall flat, but overall, they often hit home. The art is simple, but hey- simple is good too sometimes; and in this case, it hits the spot wonderfully. If you want a break from passionate romance and cold-blooded murders, I suggest you give this a go.

I need to delete this review. I made myself look like a complete retard.
For god's sake, man, why don't you try and brush up your grammar skills before putting up a general review like this? No offense but it is generally a lot more helpful to readers if they can comprehend whatever you're spouting off.
I can forgive you for ranting against the plot--I mean, hey, everyone has their own tastes and if this series just didn't do for you that's your own opinion.
But don't you think you're a bit harsh for rating the artwork far too low? As FORR pointed out, this is a yonkoma. FYI, yonkoma are known as four-cell manga or comic strip style. Don't expect too much fancy artwork for yonkoma series that what makes manga famous for. Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star are perfect examples of yonkoma style mangas. Obviously, they don't have that fancy-schmancy artwork like some shoujo titles, I mean, what do you expect from something drawn in comic strip style?
The verdict: 2
I mean, hey! Looks like you are talking about some other manga. Yes, there's no fanservice and the drawing style is really simplistic (hell, it's a yonkoma! Never heard of a nicely drawn yonkima.). But it's nowhere near boring! For God's sake, it's perfect reading for long winter evenings, when there's nothing to do. Don't read this review. Read "Sketchbook" instead.
