Plot/Story
A middle-school girl named Nao decides to live on her own when her parents move away. However, she ends up having to share an apartment with the good-looking, popular Uehara. Nao quickly falls in love with Uehara, who's in love with someone else. In the meantime, Nao's friends go through their own minor romantic struggles. Along the way, there's a few rivals, some old friends, meddling family members, and the usual problems with love - secrets, arguments, lies...
Characters
Nothing new in terms of characters. Nao is the typical "plain, cute, not that smart" heroine who worries about unimportant things. Uehara is the cool guy who's oblivious and stoic-faced. The most interesting thing about Uehara is that he gets emotional over food and is obsessed with his computer. The side-characters don't have any more depth - an unpopular guy obsessed with getting a girlfriend, a cute, straightforward friend and her personality-lacking boyfriend, the random characters who show up to bother them...
Drawing Style
The art is really cute, although sometimes body proportions and face shapes can look a little strange. The best parts are Nao's "cute" expressions - when she has a flower on her head, or when she's pouting. Overall, the art's not particularly special, and the character designs are extremely typical of shoujo manga. There's no glaring faults, but nothing very attractive, either.
Enjoyment
The story gets boring extremely fast. There's no drama in it - just incredibly immature conflicts. No death or serious accidents, no arguments that last beyond a chapter or two, no past traumas, no long-distance relationship struggles... No surprises and no plot twists.
Overall
If it had been 3-4 volumes long, it would have been much more enjoyable. The series is predictable from beginning to end, and lots of parts in the story just seem to drag on. This story is recommended for readers who absolutely want to avoid anything serious, meaningful, or dramatic in their stories, as well as for those who don't mind repetitiveness.
the stories is so interesting to me !!...wow...Nao is a cute girl...i like her eyes and hair..i wish...i have a friend like her..so that i can draw her face everyday....hehe
