Plot/Story
Yamato decided to study at Tokyo at would reside at his aunt's inn. at the very first part of the story, you'll already see many great scenes, which you'll want to read more as the story progress. first the romantic side of the story, where Yamato would see a girl (Suzuka) practicing a high jump at their school' gym.
as for the Ecchi side, starting at the bath, and further goes to their own room, it's really ecchi, yet in a humorous way. the drama settings in the story os widly spread. this is the real drama story, wherein any body who is a real fan of drama
would feel the emotions being portrayed at the story (the 1st rejection, the breakup, even the quarrels).
Characters
You can say that the characters are not just story characters but you could say that their personalities exist in reality. many among us may even relate to what the characters are.
Drawing Style
it's so neat. in fact the progression of the story can match up with the drawing style. through its artwork, you could get the full picture of what the mangaka wanted to show or express.
Enjoyment
a real enjoyment. in fact, once you read it, you'll not want to stop. of course, this only applies to those who love mangas, drama and romance. even after finishing the seris, expect that you'll want more of it.
Overall
the artwork is great. if there would be a part two of the series, a tremendous support would come. the series itself have clearly delivered the story it wants to tell. two thumbs up.
if u are looking for more just read some of his works like kimi no iru machi or love plus rinko days u described suzuka very well there
If the review was longer, it wouldve been better.
Generally, the main point I like about Suzuka is that 'this can actually happen in real life' somewhere somehow. Well chances are low, but character personality wise, its all plausible. There isn't anything ridiculous and super natural or the like in this manga. The other crappy review was comparing Suzuka which is closer to realism to Love Hina which is pure fantasy. I love Love Hina, but don't compare them together and degrade both of them.
Drawing Style is pretty good, if you look at some of the top mangas on OneManga, some of those drawings are really bad. Hunter x Hunter, Bleach to name a few. Yes Bleach, its crap. Then again, I am comparing romance/drama manga to action/supernatural manga, typically romance/drama manga have really good artwork.
Yeah, I couldn't stop reading this...I don't remember what time I started last night, but I read all the way till 5 20 am and finished all 165 chapters. Took me at least a good 9 hours I think...
'Good things will always need to come to an end' or something like that
And I really REALLY want a sequel but I don't really want it either.
I want a sequel because how good this manga is
But I don't want a sequel because all good things must come to an end
If they don't it'll just be over doing it
Too much of it will end up being not good, plus there is a limit of the amount of plot and storyline the author can make up before it runs dull.
