Plot/StoryDue to Yuu's weak personality and unintimidating looks hes a constant target for bullying. After taking a passing interest in some aspects of boxing to pass the time he inadvertantly becomes imfamous. This story is about Yuu fighting to keep his place to belong, his "holyland".
CharactersEach of the characters are belivevable. From a psychological stand point their motivations can be seen in their actions. The character development is exellent too. There are subtle changes in character personalities as the result of events that happen in the manga.
Drawing StyleAlthough slightly disproportionate the art is realistic and very detailed. Its able to accurately depict fights in a nonconfusing way that make sense visually.
EnjoymentI really enjoy Holyland. I look forward to the next scanlation releases with great anticipation. I always want to see what going to happen next.
OverallHolyland is a great manga. It has the excitement of the fights with the psychological aspect so it doesn't seem hollow.
