Aah another work from Ootsuki Mio, and a pairing who you'll highly be amused with if you're a fan of her works.

Plot/Story

The story can best be described from the synopsis, the title and from the proverb, "If you dig a grave for others you may fall into it yourself". I'll try to keep it spoiler free, the story has good pacing and a great plot twist, there's currently 3 chapters released so there's only so much I can elaborate on. Sensei finds out his student Niino has been smoking, from that Niino pleads to keep it a secret and so they strike a deal. From that you can assume what kind of deal so you'll get some sex scenes thrown in. This isn't something you haven't seen, it's a premise we've seen before but what makes it so different are the characters and their dynamics, you'll be surprised at how things get tied together as you go along.

Characters

So we have a sensei (I didn't catch his name in the manga) who's a bit of a sadist and displays a bit of an arrogance to his job and students. He rarely has an interest in what he does and labels a lot of his students as "idiots" and "loud". What you see is what you get, and you might get angry at his behavior at times but that makes the payback all more interesting.

Next we have Niino, an above average student at school who stays away from trouble and who hangs out with students with good grades, he's not particularly geeky or a goody two shoes but he is kind and maintains a "hygienic" appearance, nothing obsessive though.

The characters are above average and nothing you haven't seen, but when you delve into their personalities they seem more than what they are and they fit the story quite well. You'll enjoy or get mad at the dynamics between the two, Sensei bullies Niino and he obliges to Sensei's actualities. But there's more to Niino, he isn't the manipulated type neither does he posses a stockholm syndrome and Sensei maybe does posses some consideration for Niino, though unknowingly so.

Drawing Style

Artwork? It's the usual artwork from Mio-sensei, it scores it's rating because her artwork is unique in my honest opinion.

Enjoyment

I haven't found a work by Mio-sensei I haven't liked so enjoyment will be the same if you're a fan of her works.

Overall

An unusually high score from just 3 chapters, yes I know. The characters are well developed, the story is enjoyable and assuming from the rest chapters to be released, it'll probably be the same as well.
