[b] Plot / Story [/ b]
The plot begins rather routinely and daily, but it is very cool and scary developing. One foolish schoolgirl looks like another beautiful schoolgirl, very pretty. And she begins to try the 1001 way to get closer to her, for friendships. And finally, having received her friendly disposition, she rakes all her many years of problems: the cold attitude and sudden death of her parents, the sexual harassment of a stranger and the persistent harassment of a schoolboy to whom she, having survived all her personal tragedies and quite reasonably becoming a misanthropic person, 9 times in a row refuses, prudently believing that all men are villains. And so, the cursed days begin for the manly ugly woman: her beautiful girlfriend is clearly suffering from mental problems: she is asocial and difficult to communicate. In addition, she is an introvert, she is a cynic, she is a boor. But, at some point, she breaks through, like a dam, and the ugly girl becomes the most important creature in the world for the beauty, and the only person whom she can trust at all. The ugly woman, by virtue of her manly status among friends, imagined herself a loyal and devoted hero of the beautiful and charming princess, and began to perform a sequence of actions, trying to protect the beauty and console her in the many sorrows of a very young Asian feminine lad. As a result, all her efforts (and sufferings) lead their friendly, slightly romantic alliance to triumph at the cranberry \ kvass English (or German-French? ..) theater event, where the force of the ugly friend's love helps the fourteen-year-old beauty overcome the emotional wound caused by harassment pedophile, and again begin to contact the male part of society. I don’t know how to you, but, as for me, it’s strong. ... It’s very conceived, it’s strongly written down, it’s strongly drawn. Well, that's about the graphics below. As for the end, he, of course, is sad, but this sadness is bright. In general, I am satisfied with him - the author did not disappoint and did not break me off. Life goes on, relationships persist ... And what did you expect? Jump into your arms - and into the bunk? No, guys: this manga is called “Faithful friend” and not “Faithful lover”, therefore the relations between the main characters are extremely friendly, although, of course, with kisses - but they only have friendly kisses! By the way: the coolest thing is that in the languages of the Latin group, which also includes Cyrillic, the word "blue" means "homosexual." Therefore, the name is understandable, although, of course, the friend here is not Blue, but Pink or even Lilac-Purple. Here's a pun!
[b] Characters [/ b]
Kurihara Ayumu:
A courageous, desperate, manly girl who loves sports and is always ready to “get off the bat”. Looking at her, I envied her - I looked at what she was doing and how she behaved, and I kept thinking: “it gives, oh you, cool, I would be like that if I were” ... As the Soviet bard sang Vysotsky, being brought up on really good Western literature (and not on the Russian classical depressive and black-headed "criminal chronicles", raising only whiners, losers and suicides), she really felt in herself that very mental device that could be called courage. Ayumu is a very courageous and brave girl, she has it in her blood and she does just that. Wise old people say that heroism usually occurs where slovenliness happened. That's right: Misuzu, of course, fell into all the tragic events of her life because of the slovenliness of her mother, who did not take care to establish a warm relationship between her daughter and stepfather ... And the hospital’s management, in which he worked, did not provide a proper check of his assistant for addiction to perversions ... Well, what can I do - then: you can’t keep track of everything. But Ayumu gave Misuz what she needed so much: the protection of her body and the warmth of her soul. As the Soviet bard Okudzhava sang, there are very few real people, but Ayumu is a real person.
Tsukishima Misuzu:
An introverted, boorish, angry girl who has suffered over her 14 years from everyone: from women, and from men. Especially from the peasants, because her father obviously pretty much spoiled her blood with his dismissive and, as she herself noticed, cold attitude, and his assistant completely undermined her confidence in men. Why, in general, she became so cruel. But this is just her mask, which serves to cover her tender and fragile, vulnerable soul from strangers. The story of Misuzu is the story of a revival of confidence in men in the soul of a victim of male violence, moreover, due to the love of another woman for this victim. During the final scene in this very school play, Ayumu gave Misuz a very interesting and instructive example for theater actors: when you have to make a pretentious hug and kiss the actor whom you are mortally afraid of, just imagine the person you love instead. Misuzu did it. From her asocial autism, which irritated and enraged everyone, she went out to people and touched humanity, no matter how disgusting it was. And this is the grand finale of human victory over the atrocious, extrovert over the introvert, the best of itself over the worst of itself.
Azuma Satsuki:
PUNKED such a girl of very attractive appearance. Dressing like punk. Looks like punk. Behaves like punk. But, nevertheless, in this manga she, in general, is a kind of dark protagonist: every time she appears in the story when Misuzu has problems. As the Russian pop singer Markin sang in the song about the brownie "We know from fairy tales, man, you're not evil!" And Azuma is clearly one of those manly rebellious girls, which, of course, are terrible gouging, who do not want to study and observe discipline, but at the same time, in general, of course, people with a certain share of robber nobility, or something ... Almost always, when Misuzu’s affairs are bad, then suddenly, like a hurricane or a ghost, Azuma appears and puts everyone in their place, in a psychological and physical sense. Azuma appears from nowhere, creates the desired impression on everyone present, and, as the Russian pop singer Meladze sang, disappears into nowhere (why did I never like blondes). Can kick, can move - such a brutal. The character, frankly, is very frivolous and, scary to write, erotic, albeit a schoolgirl. Truly possesses some kind of infernal charm of the tempter snake. But, nevertheless, in one of the chapters of the second half of the manga, she still succeeds in identifying that ugly villain who poisoned the beautiful Misuzu in the first half and middle of this manga - and, as always, is to blame (gardener, crossed out). In general, of course, the violent relationships between all the women in this manga are extremely interesting to observe - it's just a polygon of some kind, either romantic, or erotic - or even just neurotic. Actually, to be honest (and this is Fumi’s special talent!), All these boorish letters that poor Misuzu found in her closet time after time, I first ranked Azuma, since I understood that, in general, Azuma obviously wants to take Misuzu away from Ayumu, because she probably has a certain attraction for her, but ... as I already wrote, she is guilty anyway (butler, crossed out). In this regard, I often wanted to swear at her, beating her surname, but, in the end, I take my swear word back - it’s great she brought this pure acetone (maid, crossed out) to pure acetone.
[b] Drawing Style [/ b]
Everything in this manga is well drawn: the backgrounds are very realistic and clear, the fill with a various gradient does not crawl out of the outline, the lines are even where it should be even, and rounded where they should be round. I liked the look of the school: under the windows grow aesthetically well-groomed bushes, corridors and classrooms are clean and even. But the characters are a little scary. ... No, honestly: I looked at them like that, looked closely - and I noticed that they all are some kind of slightly specific in appearance and do not quite resemble those hentai, wallpapers and posters with which I once pumped myself from Google for a private collection. But then, what a delightful, detailed clothing they have !! I, as a person who himself works from time to time on patterns, directly admired all these folds, ruffles, straps and textures of their clothes. I especially remember this method of depicting the character’s emotions when his hand grabbed and pulled a crease on his clothes. True, in many cases, textures are simply hung on the closed outlines of clothes, as they are, and not depicted with refraction of light and a drop of shadow - and this very much resembles primitive three-dimensional games of the era of the first versions of windows ... Water is well depicted: tears, blood, rain. ... In In general, the graphics in this manga are at a high level, only the characters do not really deliver me. Apparently, this is the author’s touch of Fumi herself? .. However, I was simply enraged that at the moments of great dramatic tension between the characters she took and posted ... short sketches about her rabbit ... parents ... colleagues ... Fumi, why are you breaking up so passionately Why such a contrast? Each time, reading her stories in the left-side and lower footnote, I, of course, was filled with thirty-second sarcastic laughter, but at the same time, I felt as though I had been thrown into a tub with a “pink ice cream” from a “red flame”, well, right. ... Is it really impossible to publish them somewhere at the end of the manga, to truly relieve the psychological stress accumulated from the read chapter 😕 In no case do this anymore, Fumi - publish all your sketches about the difficult and plain life of a Japanese (programmer, crossed out) manga artist at the end of the chapters. Well, what is such and such, and what kind of unprofessionalism is that? ..
[b] Enjoyment [/ b]
Fumi, you have a very pretty avatar. It always gives me pleasure to see such hairstyles with a ponytail, they are very cute ... Especially if their owner also has a good face. You didn’t borrow your tail from Kurosawa for an hour? ..
[b] Overall [/ b]
Despite the few scary characters in this manga, she was very, very impressed. A high level of graphics, a very dramatic and even a little detective story, bright and original characters, thoughtful and entertaining dialogs. The manga is instructive and even motivating. Ayumu is worth a dozen boys who are deservedly portrayed as villains in this manga. "Woman with eggs" is Ayumu, as we say, in Russia. By the way, didn’t you notice? .. Ayumu and Misuzu ... Bolek and Lolek ... Paley and Lulekh ... Once again I’m convinced that ideas are in the air and everyone takes them because of their corruption, and even with a rhyme ... Unfortunately, again, I complain that the author herself repeatedly broke the dramatic narrative with her comic sketches in a footnote. Fumi, I beg you again very much: WELL, DO NOT do this - please write all your interesting cases from life (which are really wonderful and funny) at the END of the manuscript of your future works, and not somewhere in the middle, okay? Well, what are you, huh? ..
