Plot/Story
Welcome to modern Thailand: a heavenly place filled with hellish sins! Here bisexual women recruit lesbians, so that later, having entered into their confidence, to engage with them "office romance". Homosexuals here, following someone else's will, try to rape and marry lesbians, and threaten their bisexual relatives - to prevent the publication of photographs about their homosexual relationships. Heterosexual women here are trying to pass off their lesbian daughters to homosexuals. Lesbians work in professional service for bisexual women, spying on homosexuals. Lesbians and bisexual women help some lesbians not to become homosexual wives here, and to escape with other lesbians. And lesbians are suddenly kissing heterosexual women who were also once lesbians... The painting is completed with ink by heterosexual men who adore books about lesbian love. Oh, times, oh, morals! Add to this the "epidemic" of lesbian love that reigns everywhere in this paradise - and the picture of sexual debauchery will become more vivid for you.
Daring and beautiful, lustful and frivolous, domineering and greedy Ploylalin (or simply Ploy) finds herself in the family hotel business of her father Fifob, led by her stepmother Arisa. Her named mother, an attractive and beautiful, but cruel and evil woman, immediately makes it clear to her stepdaughter that she was made a big exception and that she was not just hired in the hotel that Arisa manages at the behest of Ploy's father. However, Ploy feels a deep dislike for both her stepmother and her father - and even more so for her work... Therefore, by chance, Crittarin (or simply Ice, after whom this part of the manga) becomes an "errand girl" for Ploy, doing all the routine work for her, while Ploy leads the sweet life of "golden youth": hangs out at private parties at night; sleeps with just anyone - both men and women; spends her life on entertainment instead of serious work in the office... Being a frivolous - and at the same time very beautiful - young woman, Ploy at some point causes Ice to sexually, teasing and arousing her in every possible way, and the subordinate passionately overwhelms her manager during intimacy - after which they have explicit lesbian sex. However, Arisa learns about this from her other subordinates, and decides to teach her cheerful and hedonistic stepdaughter a lesson, depriving her of her salary for a whole month. The situation for Ploy is further complicated by the fact that her beloved (in a related sense, of course) half-sister Muk suffers from an attempt by her own mother, the same Arisa, to marry her to Asakorn, the son of her business partner Maitri. From her spy, Nadia Ploy receives photographic evidence of the homosexuality of the groom Muk. In addition, shortly before the wedding, Muck falls in love with a student photographer Hin from her educational institution, and she uses photography as an excuse for Muck's affection for herself, for sexual - romantic relationships. Seizing the moment, Ploy and her former lover and old friend Nadia save Muk. And they give her the opportunity to hide on a moped with her beloved Hin. Ploy herself, being bisexual, declares herself the new bride of Asakorn, so as not to arouse any suspicion in Arisa. Ice finds out about this, and in terrible anger from the jealousy surging on her, she appears at the ceremony, where she is to announce the wedding of Ploylalin with Asakorn, who had previously been appointed husband to her half-sister, and rips her off. The Ploy family suffers image and financial losses, Arisa is furious, but her father Fifob, seeing the strong love bond of his daughter Ploylalin with the trainee in his hotel Crittarin, approves of their relationship, but with some conditions. Soon, Muk returns with her beloved Hin, and the mother reconciles with her daughter right at the airport, but Arisa manages to whisper in her darling Hin's ear "a couple of affectionate ones." After some disagreement, Ploy and Ice reconcile again, and their relationship becomes stronger than before.
Characters
Since there are a lot of characters in this manga, I will focus my attention only on a few of them, the most prominent and influential ones, to whom Ratana Satis has devoted the most time...
Ploy - as I already noted in this review, this is a real sex machine: it was simply born for constant sexual acts, moreover, promiscuous and with both sexes. Her sex life is simply amazing: for "dinner" - boys, and for "breakfast" - girls. Moreover, possessing a truly infernal charm of a serpent - a tempter, Ploy seems to be able to excite and seduce anyone into sex. Don't be surprised, heh, because the Kingdom of Thailand is a renowned destination for international sex tourism. By the way, in some amazing way, Ploy is very similar to one of the prostitutes from the documentary "Glory of the Whore" by the Austrian director Michael Glavogger. It is immediately obvious that Ratana Satis has dug deeply into the issue of female attractiveness of a modern Thai woman, huh. Being very light-hearted, due to her youth and material security, she lives the life of a modern Western metrosexual. However, when a friend or relative is in trouble, she is surprisingly responsible and merciful, and even ready to sacrifice herself for the good of her beloved and dear to her. And how the one and the other get along in it, one can only guess. Beautiful, but not sexy - a slender young body, a sweet and already grown-up face, tall.
Ice is the complete opposite of Ploy. Nothing is said about her parents in this manga, but it is obvious that she lives within her means and that the satang saves her bat. Pretty cute and friendly in communication, but to anger this girl, with her deep power of all-consuming destruction, oh, how not worth it - a real bitch sits deep inside her, capable of destroying everything and everyone on the way to her goal (and even the goal itself, if it is will be needed). Ice leads a measured life: goes to bed on time, gets up on time, eats on time, hangs out with her friends on time too. She does not abuse anything, and even when Ploy gave up everything in order to spend a WEEK with Ice, she (Ice) repeatedly urged Ploy not to delay work (for which, in general, Ploy later paid). Ice is a decent and decent girl, loves discipline and does not tolerate invasion of privacy. The slightest attempts to use her things can cause a firestorm of indignation. She is very jealous, the lesbian is the owner: she treats her beloved people very carefully, and requires serious relationships from them. She can safely have sex or simply confess her love for a person who is not indifferent to her. Pretty, with long red hair, thin, not tall, with oversized breasts.
Arisa is a female character whose general type can be called "The Snow Queen" or "The Wicked Witch". On the one hand, this is an insidious female creature, courageous and aggressive, with a sea of ambition and an overwhelming infernal charm. But, on the other hand, this is a deeply unhappy and suffering woman who experienced a difficult personal drama in her youth, when her beloved disowned her in favor of a husband she did not love. All her cynicism, all her arrogance and even a slight misanthropy is just a cynical mask of a woman tired of living by the rules of the world of men. In public she is solemn and grand, but in her own bedroom she is pathetic and weary. Nevertheless, some kind of inner, flaming with a crimson flame of hatred, anger prompts her to commit acts wild by today's standards. The times when traders "sold" their daughters to the families of their business partners seemed to have sunk into oblivion and are "the affairs of bygone years, a tradition of deep antiquity," as the Russian poet Pushkin wrote. But not for Arisa, and even more so for her passive husband living in harmony with his wife. She repeatedly tries to pass off her daughter Muk as a man, without even suspecting that he is gay, and she (her daughter) does not attract him in any way. And she looked at the desires and aspirations of her own daughter from the "high bell tower", condemning and despising them. All this eventually leads her to almost complete collapse, and praise to her prudent husband that he eventually showed mercy to his own daughter.
Muk is a sweet and pretty, but vulnerable and modest student. Subject to the will of her beautiful but fierce mother, although the more the mother drives her canary Muck into a cage of non-reciprocal love in a marriage of preference to the eagle Asakorn, the more Muck finds the strength to resist - and her half-sister is always there, ready to help her with everyone with their own strength, connections, money and influence. Muk is naive, but defenseless: she easily trusts her career, things, soul and body to anyone who is able to give her free will, the joys of life and simple human communication. And, in this sense, one can understand Arisa, who threatens her (Muk's) beloved to ruin her whole life if she hurts Muk... Because her (Arisa's) beloved once hurt her herself, but Arisa found the strength to survive this personal drama, but she's not sure about her daughter. Muk's lesbian orientation manifested itself in her after Asakorn, whom Arisa wanted to marry her, tried to rape her, overpowering her body. And, you know, this is a very bitter hint to various evil mothers, who are too worried about the life and fate of their daughters and woo them to whoever they have to. Muck is inclined towards creativity, but I have a feeling that she is more inclined towards people who are engaged in this activity, heh. Whatever it was, but Muck demonstrates to all of you, dear young ladies, that you need to resist in a good way the villainous will of your parents if it maliciously interferes with the pursuit of your dream. Short-haired blonde, short, thin. (By the way, for the artists working in the Poser program and wanting to mess with it, there is a three-dimensional model of Deco, which in the "factory" set of body and hair is very similar to Muck. This is not an advertisement, and I have nothing to do with the author of this model)
Drawing Style
Background Graphics Quality:
The background is simply gorgeous: everything is drawn with a great deal of persuasiveness: houses, interior items, natural objects, light, shadows, folds on clothes and linen, food and dishes, objects in the hands of characters - perhaps you can hardly find such a level of realism from any author manga. In places, I started to feel like I was seeing a photograph, not a frame from a manga, heh. True, there are some oddities: for some reason, eight-bit "dirt" perceptible at a glance is visible in some frames. What is this "dirt", where it comes from - I do not understand. Apparently, it was added by Ratana Satis at the request of the canons of the genre.
Character graphics quality:
Magnificent! The female characters in this manga are so attractive that from the mere sight of Ploy or Arisa I began to feel the urge to erect... Indeed, few manga authors brought me to such a sexual arousal... And what happened to me when I looked through sex scenes with lesbian sex, I'd rather not. Of course, not all the characters in this manga are beautiful (and their coarsening in the background in some cases simply disfigures them), but, definitely, sexy girls and women Ratana Satis draws with an obvious share of his own lust, huh?
Enjoyment
This manga just shocked and amazed me... Epic "Santa Barbara", but much better in plot and nicer in picture. Apparently, the author of this manga is very fond of all kinds of "Daring and Beautiful", various "Pride and Prejudice" and other similar North American and Northwest European series about the fact that "business and family are nothing, but lust and love are everything" (slogan based on the famous soda water ad, heh). What is happening in this manga is so touching and exciting that, obviously, it could not have done without significant everyday life personal and social experience, oh yes... Ratana Satis has produced such a magnificent, beautiful (and even moralistic) textual - graphic product that you are simply amazed : and why didn't I know anything about manga production in Thailand before ?? This manga was made with such great love and diligence that it is clearly visible: its author loves his work very much.
Overall
This manga gave me GIANT pleasure, and brightened me up almost 2 months of hot summer days (more precisely, evenings). Moreover: it is many times better than the first part, which tells about the acquaintance and love of the former lover Ploy under the nickname Pi'Mi and her (Pi'Mi) new beloved Donat: there are more attractive characters, a more twisted story, more intrigue and morality. Ratana Satis ruthlessly and roughly deal with such habits of civilized people as marriage of convenience, promiscuous sexual relations, truancy and female alcoholism. The first part is rather introductory, reminds of a sweet but simple romantic comedy and simply tells about the passionate, crazy love of two students. In the same part, Ratana Satis went even further - and thanks a lot to her for that. Truly, she and her team are some of the best manga writers in all of Asia, along with Kodama Naoko and Morinaga Milk: both in terms of text and graphics, these authors delight my heterosexual male nature like no other. Unfortunately, it happens to me like this: I started reading, read - read - and suddenly gave up. I also once did this manga, because it seemed to me: well, what is it about this, another, Santa Barbara - and even in an Asian way? .. But, heh, I just quit reading it in that place, after which it was still just beginning... I highly recommend her to everyone who wants to know the whole good that a harlot can be made faithful, a slave can be given freedom, and restricting the freedom of a modern civilized woman (if she is, of course, not a criminal) is punishable and condemned. Bravo, Ratana, we are waiting for the continuation of your new - Thai epic!
