Plot/Story
The plot of this manga tells the story of the days spent together by high school girls Mafuyu and Koharu with their friends Nanaya and Minori, who reunited after several years of separation in elementary school, when Mafuyu, for family reasons, left Koharu for Tokyo with her family.

Welcome to the modern Japanese province! Here time flows slowly, there is a sea nearby, life is reasonably arranged and logically organized, and if something terrible happens, then, thanks to resourcefulness, ingenuity, mercy and compassion, everything will normalize over time and end happily. Locals here live in low-rise private houses, work in gardens and enjoy life in the suburbs. And girls of senior school age dream of visiting Tokyo, and they also ... toil with boredom, not knowing where to put themselves and what to do with themselves.

Torimoto high school student Hanamura Koharu (or Haru-chan) meets her old school friends at the new school: Asuka Nanaya (or Nana-chan) and Kazami Minori (Mii-chan). And also Shirotsuki-san (Or Mafuyu-chan, or Fuyu-chan), a girl with whom she was in love as a child, but with whom she was separated in elementary school due to the move of her parents. Shirotsuki Mafuyu has just returned from Tokyo and is in a dull state of mind. She is reluctant to be led by others, she always has a sad and absent-minded expression on her face and it is difficult to make her smile. Nanaya and Minori (together with Koharu), being provincial ladies, instantly become interested in their new Tokyo friend: they literally ask her questions from all sides about what Tokyo is, what districts in it, and so on ... Mafuyu, however, completely not ready for such comprehensive attention, so she is very embarrassed. At some point, Koharu and Mafuyu are left alone to watch the cherry blossoms. Looking at the blooming petals, Mafuyu bashfully asks Koharu for forgiveness for leaving her in due time without saying goodbye. But the cheerful and friendly Koharu asks her not to worry about it, and upon learning that her beloved will stay with her for at least 3 more years, she utters the line that has become the motto of the entire manga: “Okay, let's stay here in high school ! ”, Which hints to her that they will be able to make up for all the time they had missed in high school. And Mafuyu willingly agrees, which makes Kohara incredibly happy. Seeing Nanaya calling them to him, Koharu grabs Mafuyu's hand and leads her along. Suddenly, Mafuyu remembers that the same girl, many years ago, also grabbed her by the hand and called to follow her. Feeling a kind of cross between satisfaction and relief from the fact that Koharu had not changed at all during the years lost in separation, Mafuyu rushed after her through the cherry orchard to the house.

... After several months of friendly life in the company of friends, full of educational concerns, club activities, parties and parties, and other joint pastime, Koharu sees a terrible dream in the style of a European arthouse thriller: she dreams of the day when Koharu and Mafuyu parted, and how she walking home in a frustrated state. On the way, she came across a black cat, who, at her request, took her to an abandoned field, where she again managed to meet with the then little Mafuyu. But suddenly Mafuyu disappeared again, and ocean fish began to fly in the sky over the field, and even whales with penguins and other terrible deep-sea creatures. But the cat continued, now disappearing, now appearing, again and again to lead Koharu somewhere ... Finally, she saw a low hill on which the cherry blossoms grew, and under which stood, already matured, an adult Mafuyu. Koharu rushed to her with tears, and Mafuyu took her in his arms, caressed and kissed her like a lover. From such a kiss, Koharu suddenly woke up and found that she had been sleeping nose to nose with Mafuyu all this time! Jumping to her knees in fright, she tried to somehow explain to herself what kind of dream it was and what it meant to her. And the sudden thought that Koharu no longer just wants friendship from Mafuyu, but wants love from her, led poor Koharu into quiet horror. Feeling her love attraction for Mafuyu, she lay down to sleep in her arms, and in her sleep Mafuyu unexpectedly pressed her to her chest.

Some time later, Mafuyu invited Kohara to taste the watermelon in her mother's house, and she happily came to eat a large berry together. After exchanging manga with Mafuyu, Koharu noticed the astrological horoscope left by Minori on the table. Koharu, being an Asian girl, was very interested in the predictions that the stars promised her, and suddenly realized that the current day is very important not only for her, but also for Mafuyu, since she peeped her prediction in her smartphone too! When Mafuyu returned, in shock, amazed Koharu even recoiled back - and the girls began to eat a watery sweet meal. Continuing to discuss her astrological predictions, Koharu, very much embarrassed, told Mafuyu her dream with fish over the field, and Mafuyu, taking the moment, decided that today came the day for her when she could confess her love to Koharu and kiss her. Terribly embarrassed, both girls still made a couple of kisses.

This is where the main storyline of the manga ends, chapter 18, in essence, rather resembles an extra-chapter with the trademark goofy humor for such chapters, and, unfortunately, this manga ends well on it, eh. And new chapters are not foreseen, because it was the decision of the manga artist who made it to complete this manga exactly on this chapter, due to the "severity of serialization". For the same reason, the storyline of the relationship between Nanai and Minori, who, obviously, already live as a wife and wife, is not completely clear. Also, the storyline of the deputy adviser of the basketball club Kusakabe-sensei and the teacher at the art club of the high school Kawai-sensei, who are clearly not indifferent to each other, are not fully disclosed.

Characters
Hanamura Koharu is a frivolous and cheerful short, golden blonde high school student with a cute short haircut. I am satisfied with every day, and every meeting is glad, as it is sung in the song of the Soviet group "Resurrection". Romantic and naive, pretty and friendly. He often smiles, laughs and sometimes even hums / whistles something under his breath. He values his friendships, but is afraid and shy of romantic feelings for his friends. Strives for beauty, but, sometimes seeing a beautiful person, he may feel timid and embarrassed. She loves friendly parties and parties, she is very sociable.

Asuka Nanaya is a sexy and pretty androgynous. Surprisingly, this red-haired girl combines feminine sexuality, and girlish prettiness, and ... and? .. a boyish manner of dressing in his spare time from lessons. In this connection, I suspect that she is a transvestite or bisexual. Like Koharu, he also loves to have fun, especially to eat - to pick two or three dishes of Japanese cuisine in his teeth. Sociable, albeit vulgarly familiar girl, a real kid. Apparently, due to the increased percentage of testosterone, since childhood, she has always been able to lead in relationships and take the initiative at a difficult moment in life - for this reason, the other main characters rake because of her (and with her) various, sometimes strange , the adventures that she comes up with for all four of them. Need to join the club? .. No problem, let's go and see: how are they doing there? .. Want to go to the water on a hot day? .. No question: ran to the station, just one stop! That's really really: "the leader of the yellow-faced", paraphrasing the title of one of the stories of O. Henry. True, it is worth noting that she is too self-confident and, again, frivolous: she will hardly get a ball in the face, looking at the students of sports clubs, then she will still wet her school uniform, although she was only going to wet her feet ... but for their loved ones - forward, and into battle. True, when, in the chapter where Minori left to save the life of her father, who caught a cold, Nanaya was so exhausted and exhausted, trying to keep herself busy in the absence of her roommate, that when she cleaned the house and did her homework, Well, I just couldn't wait to give her some worthwhile advice on how to really have fun with the rest of the time - when she finished her school homework and was bored out of boredom, I just got exhausted, and I wanted to whisper to her: “Well, stop beating the thumbs - open the most beautiful photograph of Minori on your smartphone and start masturbating, finally !!! ".

Kazami Minori is the exact opposite of Koharu and Nanaya, a very pretty, golden-blonde high school student. In fact, she has very long hair, but she constantly curls / braids it cunningly into vintage European-style hairstyles from the beginning of the 20th century. Having experienced the tragic loss of her mother in childhood and becoming the main skeleton in her family's house, she, however, did not forget how to smile, laugh, have fun and joke, however, having taken the place of her deceased mother, she began to behave like a compassionate and instructive mother. Economical, knows how to count her money. She strives to read notations to her friends (most often - Nanaya) about the right way of life. He cooks well, knows the recipes of national Japanese dishes, as well as ways to cook them from European ingredients. Leads a quiet, measured life, preferring to be only with the closest and dearest to her people. He remembers the difficult past with a smile, does not mind fooling around on camera.

Shirotsuki Mafuyu is beautiful and tall, but some kind of eternally dull and even depressive blue-haired long-haired high school student. Transfer student: she studied for some time in Tokyo, leaving her native places, until one day she returned to her native land with her relatives. Feels a guilt complex for breaking up with Koharu so abruptly and suddenly (apparently, this makes her so sad and unhappy in the first chapters). Rarely has (and, moreover, expresses) his opinion, and if he decides to do so, then he declares about him somehow painfully and embarrassed. He looks at the tricks of her friends with a constant surprised-perplexed expression on her face. She loves to have fun with close friends, but even with them she is somehow not completely liberated. She is romantically attracted to Koharu, but is constantly looking for a convenient time and a suitable place to confess to her. Reluctantly joined the club with the easiest activities, not very successful in her studies and in general somehow goes with the flow. Often bullies Nanaya, very sarcastic about her cheerful personality and frivolous behavior, but, in general, is able to tolerate her around her.

Drawing Style
Background Graphics Quality:
The background in this manga is just gorgeous: everything is drawn in detail and meticulously, the lines are even in place of straight lines and rounded in place of rounded lines. Shadows in corners and rooms, glare of light in glasses and dishes, interiors and fittings, clouds in the sky and trees with vegetation on the ground - everything is done at a high level (Japanese mangaka do not knit brooms). Although, of course, some of the objects are either not drawn, or not at all drawn to the end, due to their unimportance and insignificance.

Character graphics quality:
Full delight! The characters are drawn with gigantic love. The characters look very canonical: skinny stylized bodies, including those with large breasts (quite a bit), glass doll eyes, shiny hair - everything, as in a normal anime. The characters' clothes also look very spectacular and natural: folds, textures, textures - everything in their clothes pleases and attracts. Well, and, of course, a great emphasis on eroticism: various under-skirt angles, strange shadows on the legs of characters with skirts (resembling thongs or tops of tights), shooting angles with very prominent female breasts - and so on, but holy : no panties !!!

Enjoyment
Manga from the series "(almost) continuous chillout, lounge and even new age." Throughout its history of reading shoujo-ai manga (which is still only a few years old), NO manga has given me as much spiritual and bodily pleasure as this. Having already started reading its first chapters, I first suspected the author of a penchant for art house, because the dialogues of the characters in this manga reminded me very much of the dialogues in our European, auteur cinema: continuous omissions, fragmentary phrases and heroes who are in a kind of constant stupor and dullness. But, the further I read this manga, the more I loved it. And the Internet radio channel with rhythm and blues music about love, which I listened to all these wonderful days, literally revealed this manga to me in all its fullness of humanity and beauty. In particular, ever since I read it, Lionel Richie and Diana Rose's song "Endless Love" has become a real title soundtrack for this manga for me. And the song "Computer Love" from Zapp and Roger, well, it just splendidly hit me when I read the chapter about washing the heroines' feet in the waters of the ocean. And, I don't know about you, but for me reading this manga really happened on my own wonderful days: I made a couple of mutually beneficial deals promising me some money, I started several new projects that promised me, if not money, then fame - and in general: on the street, while I was reading it, May slowly but surely turned into June. And, if in the manga cherry blossoms, then in my places where I live, an apple tree blossomed. And so, breathing in the scent of these white flowers and listening to love rhythm and blues, every day for 45 minutes I felt like the happiest person a few meters around. And several times this manga literally brought me out of the terrible depression caused by the events of spring-summer 2021 in my country, so I can also thank its author for saving me from suicide. In a word, it was very difficult for me to switch from THIS manga to ANOTHER one, and when I found out that its author had stopped further work on it, I felt a slight sadness. Therefore, I highly recommend all of you to read this manga, because, although there is no sex in it, and the dialogues are not always properly spelled out (and some of the chapters are completely annoying), it is one of the main candidates for my personal top 10 list.

Overall
Wonderful art, viable characters, beautiful and sexy female bodies, friendly and cheerful atmosphere - all this this manga will give you all. Perhaps this is one of the rare examples of manga that I want to look at rather than read - this, in general, I did for 3 or 5 weeks. Many times I stopped reading this manga in order to enjoy it instead of reading appearance, admire the sexy and pretty Nanaya. The narration itself is also surprising: reading it, you seem to be sad and happy with each character, his emotional state is conveyed to you, you seem to feel close to him - the mental immersion is very deep and tangible. And the views of rural Japan of our time evoke pleasant associations with a country estate, with a pleasant pastime in the countryside in the days of late spring, all months of summer and early autumn. While reading this manga, I drank the drinks that the characters drank. I ate the food the characters ate (oh gods - I could almost taste it!). And I ... it seems? .. I felt the skin of another person under the fingers of the characters when they hugged or ... kissed. Just fantastic ... or is it just my imagination, huh? As for the author of this manga, I beg her very much: respected mangaka, well, please us with at least a few more chapters, well, even as fan art or extra chapters - readers of your manga all over the world nevertheless, they believe and hope for your civic conscience!
