Regular guy x idol girl

REC is about an up-and-coming seiyuu, not an idol, but it's similar in many respects, and their first relationship obstacle is her manager.

Aside from MPD Psycho, which would be cool if done like Monster, Yotsubato!, which I've been hoping for for YEARS, and Iono-sama Fanatics, which I agree would be wonderful animated, my top choice would be Hakodate Youjin Buraichou Himegami.

It'd be...

Usually a t-shirt and shorts or underwear, but I add layers in colder weather, and have been known to sleep nude when it's hot out.

Quote from calstine
Freesia is considered the best out of Matsumoto Jiro's works. It's probably better to start with that one and then, if you liked it, work your way through the others.
But I think it's fair to warn you that if you are female (whi...

Okusama wa Joshikosei is rather ecchi, though, so fair warning. There's also Toriko - Aigan Shoujo, but that REALLY skates the line at times.

This is probably a troll, yeah.

But that said, I defy anyone to watch some Margaret Cho (I recommend I'm the One That I Want) and not find it funny. If you can keep a straight face when she talks about her mom- THAT'S when you probably don't unders...

I highly recommend Dounika Naru Hibi/Happy-Go-Lucky Days, by the author of Hourou Musuko and Aoi Hana. These are anthologies of short stories and they're definitely something different, but I quite like them.
Top ten manga characters you would like to kill

- Like the entire cast of Hot Gimmick, starting with Ryouki
- Gendou Ikari (Evangelion)
- Sae (Peach Girl)
- Mariya (Maria Holic)
- every character from Houou Gakuen Misoragumi except Kei

Clearly, I'm not big on characters that like to emotionally tort...

Oldest period is Kanashimi no Belladonna (1973), really trippy but awesome Mushi Pro movie.

Oldest TV series I think is Oniisama E... which is from 1991, apparently? Huh. I thought it was a lot older than that; the manga came out in 1975.
Does this type of manga exist?

I feel like that's an awfully specific storyline there... nevertheless, I'd recommend Solanin as a realistic, bittersweet love story with a lot of twists in that vein.
