Honestly the first thing that came to mind was Rurouni Kenshin but he doesnt hide his identity that much. Also Ao no Exorcist though I wouldnt say he has an alternate heroic identity. Sorry for only recommending two obvious ones, I'm sure there's lot of this kind of manga...
