Still from the perspective of the girl, but with the guy (main lead) confessing. Something like Namaikizakari but with a less obnoxious male.

I didn't finish the following due to various reasons:
1. Taiyou no Ie - Didn't like it, though it has such rave reviews that I'm thinking of trying it out again
3. Kyou koi wo hajimemasu, Heroine Shikkaku, Parfait Tic and others that I don't remembe...

Taiyou no Ie (hated the leads and the art, very cliche)
Hirunaka no Ryuseei (it was ok, not amazing)
Kimi ni Todoke (again, it was alright. I like Sawako, Chizu, Ayane and Ryu but I didn't like Kazehaya all that much and the story just got boring af...

Popular, 'refreshing', oh-so-perfect guys. Take Kimi ni Todoke, for example. I really like Sawako, but I I dislike Kazehaya because he, like a lot of these popular guys, is a limited, one-dimensional character.
What do mean when they say a character is 'refreshing'?

In shoujo, I find male characters like Kazehaya in 'Kimi ni Todoke' referred to as refreshing. I understand that to some extent it means that the guy is popular, but it gets on my nerves cause I don't get what exactly they are implying, especially...
