+1 on isekai LOL. I don't know how or why it started, but suddenly one day, a ton of isekai stuff showed up.
To be fair, there are some really good ones out there. But a majority of them are the sameeeeee. There's also a growing bunch of them that are of the martial arts ...

MU does give the vibes that it's dying because it's got such an old look. It's amazing how it has kept this oldschool design up until now, but it's great because that's MU's brand now.
I'm sure lots of people will be upset if it gets shut down one day. Please don't die! :'...

What comes to mind is the webtoon called The Horizon by JH. The boy and girl walk quite a bit, and at the end it does go to the future. But the difference was that the girl dies and the boy lives.
Pretty sure this isn't it, but thought I'd throw it out here.
