It's a different kind of manga...

It's very realistic, and actually feels like you're transported into their reality, seen through Kazuki's eyes. They feel human, and react rather realistically as well; it's a rather unique experience. I felt like I was lifted away and observing the characters, except they really felt like people. It's not upfront all the time, and many things are forgotten, or never said outright, but I think it's done well. If you want to be transported into another person's life, you can read this to partially experience how people in bike gangs may act.

It may seem a bit bland but if you get into it the story is amazing. I think it's not about the action of the gang but more like an observation of the main couple and how they change over time. I had a bloody heart attck in the last few chapters. And even without common ground I could really sympathize with the heroine. I gave it 20 star rating in my head. It so had a summer feeling to it. Hazy, nostalgic, lingering regrets, etc A good story about street life and kids involved in it. If you're familiar with the novel book The Outsiders you'll know what I mean.

It's kind of an "okay" manga. I was hoping it'd be similar to Mars, but so far it isn't. The art is definitely much worse, and the panels are extremely sparsely drawn, with hardly any emphasis on the facial reactions of characters, which after a couple of pages you really miss, and it makes it really hard to follow the action, since the drawings are usually small or kind of blurringly drawn. The characters themselves have rather bland, expressionless faces, and the only real saving feature of this manga is the dry voice of the heroine (for yes, it is, in fact, a girl, regardless of how hard it is to tell). Then again, I've only read one chapter, so maybe it gets a lot better later on, and the interaction between characters gets better...
